Character isn't inherited. It's built - one habit at a time, as a family. Viku is a positive habit tracker for kids and families that turns daily routines, responsibility and small moments of effort into lifelong skills. Build healthy habits, teach the value of money and encourage autonomy - through a simple, private experience designed for children aged 3-16. Meet Viku - a companion that grows with your child At the heart of the app is Viku, a puzzle-piece character that becomes a visual reminder that small actions, repeated over time, can create something amazing. Not a reward machine. Not a monitoring tool. A daily family ritual built on the belief that recognizing effort is not the same as conditioning behavior. Six stages. One journey As children grow, so does Viku. Language, habits, and design evolve across six stages - from toddlers at 3 to teenagers at 16. A 5-year-old has a completely different experience than a 14-year-old, as they are at completely different moments in life. Habits that actually stick Growing up happens in small everyday moments: brushing teeth, helping at home, managing emotions, taking responsibility, learning to wait, or understanding the value of things. Viku helps families build habits across key areas of child development: -Physical wellbeing and hygiene -Responsibility and organization -Helping at home -Emotional awareness -Social skills -Digital balance -Financial education Families can use Viku's age-based suggestions or create their own habits. Start small. Celebrate consistency. Build from there. A missed day is never a failure. Viku is built for the long game: real constancy over time, not daily perfection. When a habit doesn't get done, what appears is encouragement - never a penalty, never a reproach. Financial literacy, from day one Children collect Vikus - a symbolic currency that helps them connect effort with decisions. Their Vikus are divided across four savings jars with real purpose: -Treasures - everyday rewards and small treats -Goals - saving toward a personal goal -Investment - understanding how savings can grow over time -Donation - learning generosity and empathy Families set their own reference value for Vikus. The point isn't the amount - it's the habit of thinking about where effort goes and why. Rewards that make sense Children redeem their Vikus in the Treasure Corner - a family-defined reward space. It can include material treats, experiences, privileges, special plans or shared family moments. Viku doesn't push materialism: many of the most meaningful rewards cost nothing at all. Because sometimes the best reward is simply time together. Designed for families, not screens Viku isn't designed to replace the conversations and presence that only a family can provide. Parents guide the experience: - Validate habits - Set goals - Configure rewards - Accompany progress As children grow, they earn more autonomy - but the family always stays at the center. Among siblings, Viku fosters cooperation over competition: cheering each other on and understanding that everyone grows in their own time. The story behind Viku Viku was born at home. Like most families today, we kept running into the same wall: Everything moves so fast, there's barely time to breathe - let alone sit down and intentionally work on habits, values, or financial basics with your children. We tried different systems over the years. Some things worked, some didn't. But slowly, Viku started taking shape from what actually stuck with our own kids. Our mission: to help families raise children with strong habits, real autonomy, and the understanding that effort always has value. Privacy, by design - No ads - ever - No data sold - not yours, not your children's - Private family environment: no public chats, no social feeds... - Adult-managed accounts, protected by PIN Because the best life lessons happen at home, together.
