AskBetter vs Ai Notes Studio

AskBetter helps you turn vague questions into clear, useful prompts before you ask an AI. Write what you need in plain language, choose a focus, refine the prompt, and send it directly to the AI provider you configure. AskBetter is built for people who already use AI and want better results without handing their workflow to another account or proxy. Why AskBetter: - Turn rough questions into structured prompts - Save reusable prompt templates - Send prompts directly to your selected provider - Keep API keys in iOS Keychain - Keep chats, prompts, and settings local on your device - Use OpenAI-compatible providers and supported direct integrations - Configure local or LAN Ollama endpoints when available Important: AskBetter is free to download. Full access starts with a 7-day free trial on the weekly plan. After the trial, continue for EUR 0.89/week in the target Euro storefront or unlock lifetime access for EUR 9.95. AI credits, provider subscriptions, API usage fees, and provider accounts are not included. Requests are sent directly from your device to the provider you choose.

Record a voice note, get a transcript, and let an AI agent turn it into a summary, meeting notes, a to-do list or a mind map. RECORDING A live transcript appears while you speak, made on the phone where the device supports it. Recording continues with the screen locked or the app in the background. On the free plan a recording stops at 60 seconds and the note is still saved and transcribed; on PRO, PRO API or an AI minute pack it can run up to two hours. The full transcript is made on the server; it finishes even if you close the app, and a notification tells you when a long note is ready. AGENTS Fifteen built-in agents: Short summary, Bullet points, Meeting notes, Lecture notes, Journal entry, To-do list, Mind map, Cleaned transcript, Key insights, Ideas and thoughts, Important reminders, Self-reflection, FAQ, Social post, Children's story. Writing your own agents needs a paid plan. ASK AI Ask a question across your own notes; the answer says which notes it came from. On the free plan it reads the last 30 days; on a paid plan, the whole notebook. MORE Type a note and save it without AI processing; nothing is metered. Search titles, bodies and transcripts. Translate a note, one agent result or a whole transcript into 15 languages. Export to Markdown or PDF. Photo notes, audio import, adding a second recording to a note, notebooks, rules that file a note by meaning, an AI keyboard for any app, an MCP endpoint and the dictation dictionary need a paid plan. Interface in Russian, English, German and Spanish. iPhone and iPad, iOS 17.0 or later. Sign in with Apple, Google, or email and a 6-digit code. FREE No card needed. A monthly allowance of notes — 200 at the moment, one recording or one new typed note each — plus a separate, smaller allowance of AI units for Ask AI, translations and running an agent again. Recordings up to 60 seconds, 250 MB of audio. PRO 500 minutes of audio a month, paid for by us, charged for what a recording lasted: ten seconds cost ten seconds. Agents, Ask AI, translation and photos are included. Recordings up to two hours, 5 GB of audio, and everything above except personal provider keys. PRO API No AI minutes are included: your providers invoice you directly. It stores your own OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Groq, Grok (xAI) or OpenRouter key, encrypted, on our server, and pins a model per task — agent, speech-to-text, photo recognition. Without a saved key it runs nothing, so it is not a cheaper PRO. AI MINUTE PACKS 300 minutes EUR 7.99, 600 EUR 14.99, 1000 EUR 23.99, spent like PRO's minutes and never expiring. On PRO they are used once the monthly 500 run out; on their own they unlock the AI features with no subscription, two-hour recordings and 1 GB of audio. SUBSCRIPTIONS PRO — EUR 9.99 per 1 month, or EUR 59.99 per 1 year. PRO API — EUR 2.99 per 1 month, or EUR 29.99 per 1 year. Prices are in euro. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings on your device, under your name, Subscriptions. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ PRIVACY Your notes are not kept only on your device: each note — title, text, transcript, agent results, translations, the recording and any photo — is stored in your account on our server; the phone keeps a cache. An account is required; there is no local-only mode. Nothing goes to an AI provider until you grant AI consent, which you can revoke in Settings at any time. When you use an AI feature, the text, audio or image that feature needs is sent to the AI provider that performs it; that provider may keep what it receives, process it outside your country and use it to improve its models. No ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics. You can delete your account and its data in the app; purchase records are kept for seven years without your user id. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
