Follow-up questions, searching, copy-paste, waiting for approvals: everyone knows the small interruptions of a working day. Hardly anyone knows what they cost. The friction log turns them into a number you can put on the table. HOW IT WORKS 1. Capture: when something gets in the way, tap one of eight categories and pick the minutes lost. Add a note if you like. It takes a few seconds – right when it happens, not from memory at the end of the day. 2. Project: after seven observed days and five entries the app projects to a full month – in hours and in euros, at your own hourly rate and on 21 working days. Before that it only shows what was actually measured. 3. Pass it on: share the report as an image or text, for example in Teams or Slack. As the basis for the conversation with whoever decides. WHAT YOU SEE • Time measured over the last seven days • Monthly projection in hours and euros • The biggest time sinks by category • A cost curve: what it costs if nothing changes for twelve months TEST HYPOTHESES WITH THE SPARRING If you want to know where it comes from: the sparring asks in seven short steps about the trigger, handovers, standstill, waste, possible effect and available data. A rule-based engine compares your answers with 23 curated hypothesis patterns. No LLM. You get up to three hypotheses with a confidence rating, a range for the possible yearly effect and three data points you can measure within five working days. Sometimes the honest answer is: this isn't worth it. ALSO • Cookbook: 12 reference architectures showing how typical workflows can be automated – demos, not client projects • Learn: two courses with seven short lessons, including "Measure instead of guessing" and "From minutes to euros" • Reminders you switch on yourself – scheduled locally on the device • Export the sparring as a printable discussion brief • Light and dark appearance, German and English, iPhone and iPad WHAT THE APP WON'T DO • No sign-up, no account • No tracking, no ad IDs, no analytics • All entries stay on your device. They only leave it when you share them yourself. • No prices and no sales inside the app FOR THE WHOLE TEAM If you want to measure not just your own interruptions but your whole team's: you can request a conversation on automationshowroom.com. A free self-check is available there as well. PUBLISHER balane GmbH, Jonas Höttler. Support: support@balane.tech
