Ch@t vs WUD

Ch@t is a social discovery and dating app designed to help people connect through conversation, personality, and shared perspectives. Instead of swiping through profiles and sending generic introductions, Ch@t encourages users to learn more about each other before a conversation begins. — HOW IT WORKS — Every profile includes SpeedDate — three questions written by the user. These questions help introduce interests, viewpoints, and personality in a more meaningful way. When you discover someone in Browse, you can answer their SpeedDate questions to express interest. The other person reviews your responses and decides whether to continue the conversation. This creates a more intentional introduction process and helps people learn more about one another before connecting. — FEATURES — DATES Manage your SpeedDate activity in one place. Review responses received from other users, keep track of responses you have submitted, and manage ongoing interactions. BROWSE Explore verified profiles and discover people nearby. View SpeedDate questions before deciding whether to respond. INBOX Keep all conversations organised in one place. Manage active chats, archive conversations, and control who can interact with you. MESSAGING Communicate through direct messaging, reactions, threaded replies, photos, and GIFs. PROFILE Create your profile, upload photos, and personalise your SpeedDate questions. Face verification helps confirm that profiles belong to real people. Photo moderation helps maintain community standards. PRIVACY & SAFETY Manage visibility settings, block unwanted contacts, access reporting tools, and use the Safety Centre whenever needed. Users can import contacts and prevent unwanted interactions before they occur. PREMIUM Optional premium features provide access to additional discovery tools, enhanced profile controls, boosts, roses, advanced filters, and expanded activity limits. — SAFETY FIRST — Ch@t is intended for users aged 18 and older. User safety is a core part of the platform. Profiles undergo age and face verification before becoming visible within the community. Users can block and report profiles at any time, and content moderation is actively enforced to help maintain a respectful environment. The Safety Centre provides guidance, resources, and reporting tools directly within the app. Support is available through Settings → Support & Legal. Whether you are looking to meet new people, expand your social circle, or start meaningful conversations, Ch@t provides a structured way to connect through shared interests and thoughtful responses. Download Ch@t and start the conversation. — SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS — Premium features are available as optional in-app purchases processed through Apple. Pricing is displayed before purchase. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled at any time through your Apple ID settings. — SUPPORT — Support and legal resources are available directly within the app through Settings → Support & Legal.

WUD turns "what's everyone doing tonight?" into a one-tap answer — for you, your friends, and their friends too. Post what you're up to in the next few hours — coffee, gym, surf, dinner, gaming, anything at all. Your friends see it instantly. Their friends see it too, if you want them to. Anyone in the circle can tap join. No algorithm chasing strangers, no endless scroll, no plans that die in the group chat. Just real people, real plans, today. HOW IT WORKS Open WUD and you'll see what your friends — and their friends — are running for the day. Tap any plan to RSVP, react, or jump into the per-plan chat with everyone going. Tap the + button to post your own: pick a category, say what you're doing, choose now or later. Done in ten seconds. Not sure yet? Float the idea instead. "Anyone keen for dinner Friday?" Send it to a few friends, see who's in, lock it in as a real plan once enough say yes. MEET YOUR FRIENDS' FRIENDS The best people you don't know yet are one degree away. Post a plan publicly and a friend-of-a-friend can see it the moment any of your direct friends joins — that's how new circles form. Want it tighter? Flip the plan to friends-only or to a specific squad. You decide who sees what, every time. FEATURES • Today's feed of plans from friends + friends-of-friends • One-tap join, with confetti when you commit • Per-plan chat — messages, photos, polls, emoji reactions • Floats — soft proposals before you commit • Squads — named groups so the right plan lands with the right crew • Live Now — flip yourself live for an hour and let friends find you • Pings — one-tap "anyone bored?" broadcasts • Smart suggestions for your mornings, your big nights, and what's starting soon • Add any plan to your calendar with one tap • Push notifications you can quiet per category PRIVACY You control the audience on every single plan. Public means your friends and their friends can see and join. Private means only your direct friends. Squad means only the squads you tag. No public timeline open to the whole internet, no algorithm trying to keep you scrolling, no data sold. If you add a phone number, it's hashed and used only to match contacts who are already on WUD. WUD is for spontaneous plans with the people you actually know — and the ones you're about to.
