Never forget a paint mix again. BrushLog is a miniature painting recipe manager for tabletop hobbyists. "Was it that red and white at 2:1, or 3:1?" Stop guessing. Record every recipe — paints, ratios, layers, and notes — linked to each miniature you own. 【What you can do with BrushLog】 ▷ Record Paint Recipes Save the paints used, mix ratios, layer order, and step notes for every recipe. Attach multiple recipes to one mini (base coat, shade, highlight, etc.). Duplicate recipes or copy them to another miniature. ▷ Link Paints to Minis — Both Ways See exactly which paints went on any mini, and which minis use any given paint. Finished works are shown in a clean grid view. ▷ 5,900+ Color Presets Presets from major paint brands — built right in. Pick from the library or set any custom hex color with the color wheel. Use “Add from catalog” to add many paints at once. ▷ Track Progress & Painting Time Four stages: Backlog → Assembling → Painting → Done. Log time spent on each mini, or time your sessions with the painting timer. A banner alerts you when any paint is running low, and the Restock list gathers those paints for your next shop trip. ▷ Export & Import Your Data (Free) Export paints, miniatures, and recipes as a single CSV — or as a ZIP that includes photos. Import the same formats to add data back on this device. ▷ Before & After Photos and WIP Album Swipe a slider to compare the miniature before and after painting, and keep work-in-progress photos for each mini. Watch your skills improve over time. Supports both camera and photo library. ▷ Project / Army Management (Pro) Group minis into armies, collections, or any project you choose. ▷ Share Cards Turn a miniature or recipe into an image card for social media or your painting group. Choose the size and details to show. ▷ Painting Reminder (Pro) Set a weekly local notification on your preferred day and time. Hello and welcome to Army Pigment! My name is Nathan and I am a miniature painting enthusiast and designer. For years I wanted one place that could actually keep up with my hobby — not just my paint schemes, but the whole ecosystem from creator news to the latest releases. I tried so many apps but none of them seemed to do it for me. So I built my own. Army Pigment is my passion project. The goal is to build a product that lets you take your hobby with you wherever you go. This is more than a painting app. It’s a pocket companion for people who collect colour, chase recipes, and still want to know what’s happening in the world of miniature art. It’s streamlined, sleek, and finally a joy to look at — the tool I always wished existed. And we’re just getting started. What’s inside The collection Catalogues across the big brands. Own it, wishlist it, count the pots, see how complete a range actually is. Built for enthusiasts who want to collect them all and are sick of duplicate purchases. The mixes No more typing out ratios. Tap your drops into your mixes and save them with ease and visual style. Nail that recipe six months later instead of reconstructing it from a blurry photo of paints lined up. (We’ve all done it.) The hobby feed News and creators in one place. Follow your favorite paint brands and painters to stay on top of the creative hype. Live Home Screen widgets Your collection and wishlists at a glance — the hobby and its top creators, right on your Home Screen. Never miss a new release. Native on iPad Built from the ground up for your desk next to your wet palette. Not a phone layout stretched until the pixels break. Clean and beautiful design Liquid Glass throughout. We’re artists — the tool should feel good to look at, not just get the job done. Custom app icons Because your Home Screen is part of the hobby too and should follow you to old worlds or the grim dark future. Bottle scanner Point it at the pot while you’re working, without a glitchy barcode scanner that only works half the time. Add it. Keep painting. iCloud sync (Premium) Phone and iPad stay in lockstep. Free to start. Premium is $12.99 a year and unlocks unlimited paints and mixes, unlimited project folders, iCloud sync, custom icons, and collection widgets. I’m one designer and enthusiast building this in my spare time because I know what I want from a companion tool. The locker and the mixes are just the start. The hobby’s horizon is the goal. Thanks for following along — I hope you enjoy what’s here, and what’s coming. Welcome, fellow hobbyists. Stay in touch — this is just the beginning. It’s been a lot of work, but I’m confident it’ll be a fantastic addition to your creative journey. Connect with me if you find bugs or have feature ideas you’ve always wanted in a hobby companion.
