Catalyst vs NoteScreen

You know what you need to do. The hard part is following through. The email you keep avoiding. The project you keep restarting. The thing that’s been “this weekend” for a month. Catalyst is an AI goal planner built for the gap between knowing what matters and actually doing it. Talk it through with Jax, your voice-first AI coach. Sort through competing priorities, choose a manageable next step, and keep your goals and progress in view. WHEN EVERYTHING FEELS IMPORTANT Five things feel urgent. You don’t know where to start. So you reorganize the list, think about it some more, and end the day with the same things still waiting. Jax helps you work through what’s competing for your attention and turn a bigger goal into a next step you can actually take. Less spinning. More moving. WHEN YOU KEEP PUTTING IT OFF You already know the task matters. That doesn’t make starting easy. Bring Jax the thing you’ve been avoiding — the application, the hard email, the project you’ve restarted three times — and work through what’s getting in the way. You don’t need another productivity tip. You need somewhere to start. WHEN THE WEEK CHANGES Monday’s plan can look very different by Thursday. Meetings move. Something takes longer than expected. A new priority appears. Catalyst keeps your goals, projects, saved steps, and progress together in My Plan so you can return to what matters instead of mentally starting over. A COACH WHO REMEMBERS Jax carries relevant context across conversations, helping you revisit goals, commitments, and the things you keep coming back to. Less re-explaining. More continuity. Write a note. It lives on your Lock Screen. That's it. NoteScreen is the simplest reminder app you'll ever use. The thing you need to remember sits on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island — front and center every time you pick up your phone. Impossible to miss. SCHEDULE YOUR DAY • Notes rotate on your schedule — "Take out the trash" 7–8 AM, "Wind down" at 9 PM. NoteScreen swaps them automatically with a silent nudge at each change. • Recurring days — set "Trash night" for every Tuesday, "Water plants" for Sundays. • Always mode pins one note up all day. GLANCEABLE EVERYWHERE • Lock Screen Live Activity, Dynamic Island, and Home & Lock Screen widgets — your current note is wherever you look. • Interactive widgets — check off a note right from your Home Screen without opening the app. • Up to 10 notes, 80 characters each. Short enough to read at a glance. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no login, no cloud. NoteScreen never touches the network — your notes live on your iPhone and nowhere else. Good to know: iOS limits Live Activities to 8 hours, so the Lock Screen banner refreshes whenever you open the app. Add the Lock Screen widget for a note that never expires.
