Ontoryx vs DailyTopic

Ontoryx is the group chat you actually want to open. Every day, your group gets one real question — and a calm, private space to answer it together. No endless feed. No likes to chase. Just the conversations you never quite get to in the group chat. How it works Create a small, invite-only group and pick a vibe. Each day a new question appears. Share your answer — in text or as a short voice note — and everyone else's unlocks once you do. Then comment, react, and go deeper. After a day or two it all quietly disappears, so nothing piles up. Pick your depth • Philosophy — the big "what does it all mean" questions • Personal — get to know each other for real • Society — open, principle-based questions about how we live together • Casual — some days deep, some days delightfully dumb • Random — a different category every day, never the same one twice in a row Meeting in person? Start a card session: a shuffled deck of questions to flip through together — at dinner, on a road trip, or whenever the conversation deserves better than small talk. No group needed. Why people love it • One thoughtful question a day — never a feed to scroll • Answer in text or voice • Comment and react to keep the conversation going • Card sessions for face-to-face conversations • Small, private groups (up to 30), invite-only with a simple code • Answers are ephemeral — here today, gone tomorrow • Gentle, optional reminders so you never feel nagged Private by design No ads. No tracking. No analytics SDKs. Your answers are for your group and no one else. You can delete your account and all your data anytime, right inside the app. Available in English, German, French and Spanish. Stop catching up. Start actually talking.
