Forge is a recovery app built around one idea: cravings pass. The urge you're feeling right now will be gone in 90 seconds. Forge gets you through those 90 seconds — and every one after that. STREAK TRACKING A live clock counts every hour, minute, and second you've stayed clean. No rounding, no approximation. Real time. AI COACH A private recovery coach that knows your addiction, your patterns, and where you are in your journey. Talk through a craving, plan your week, or just have someone there at 2am. RECOVERY GAMES Three science-backed mini-games that train the exact mental skills sobriety demands — impulse control, pattern interruption, and sitting with discomfort without acting on it. DAILY TRIO Three actions every day: check in, play a game, write in your journal. Hit all three and earn bonus coins. Small wins compound. BOSS BATTLES Every weekend, a Pro-tier challenge drops. Beat the week's Boss and earn coins. Miss it and it's gone until next Friday. VICE GRIP PLAN A personalized recovery protocol built from your intake answers. Clinical-grade structure, without the clinical price tag. SOS MODE When a craving hits hard, one tap opens breathing exercises, urge surfing, and your personal coping toolkit — ranked by what's actually worked for you. MONEY SAVED Tell Forge what you used to spend per week. Watch it become months of rent, a vacation, a guitar — the thing you actually want. YOUR COHORT See how many people who started the same addiction in the same week as you are still going. You're not doing this alone. TREE GARDEN Your sobriety grows a tree. Water it daily. Let it wilt and it shows. A living metaphor you can see. BADGES, XP & COINS Every action earns something. Missions, daily challenges, streaks, milestones — all tracked, all rewarded. Works for: nicotine, alcohol, weed, pornography, gambling, gaming, sugar, caffeine, opioids, and more. Forge Pro unlocks the AI Coach, Boss Battles, Vice Grip advanced days, and unlimited game levels. Free trial available. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
Quit

Quit does one job: keep the clock running. THE CLOCK Days, hours, minutes and seconds since your last cigarette, live on your home screen and lock screen. Next to it: money saved, cigarettes not smoked, and hours of life regained. YOUR BODY, RECOVERING A 16-step recovery timeline, from blood pressure at 20 minutes to lung function at a year and beyond, sourced from the CDC, NHS, and American Lung Association. Watch each milestone unlock. CRAVING SOS Cravings pass in about five minutes. Hit SOS for a five-minute countdown with box breathing and get through it. QUIT WITH A BUDDY Swap a six-character code with a friend. See each other's clock, send a jab when they need it, and get a push the moment either of you slips. TOUGH LOVE, ON SCHEDULE A blunt daily reminder and a push at every milestone. Fair warning: the app swears. HONEST SLIPS Smoked? Log it. The clock resets, the slip is counted, and your buddy hears about it. Then you start again. WIDGETS Small and medium home screen widgets. Circular, rectangular and inline lock screen widgets. No account, no ads, no tracking. Your data stays on your phone and in iCloud. Quit is not a medical device and doesn't replace advice from a doctor.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Quit at none against Forge's 4. Quit also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 days). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
