Turn target photos into a clear range journal and get AI guidance to help improve your shooting technique. TAKE A PHOTO OR IMPORT UP TO 10 Capture your paper target or choose photos from your library. Shotholes orders photos by capture time, identifies supported target designs, and compares successive photos to find new hole locations. SEE EACH ROUND CLEARLY Green circles highlight new detections; blue circles show existing holes. Zoom into the original photo, switch between images, or view mapped positions on a clean target diagram when the target can be matched. Photo dates and numbered markers help you follow the sequence. KEEP CONTROL OF YOUR RECORD Add a missed mark or remove an incorrect detection. Saved results remain available on your device without paying to view them again. A new target paper can start a separate record. AI GUIDANCE TO IMPROVE YOUR TECHNIQUE Add your firearm model and shooting distance for guidance based on your target type and shot distribution. Get possible explanations for your patterns and focused practice suggestions for grip consistency, trigger control and follow-through. Receive feedback on your first group, with comparisons to the previous group when available. Guidance runs in the background so you can keep using the app, then stays saved with the corresponding photo. Each photo keeps one guidance result. AI guidance is available at no extra charge. LEARN ABOUT TARGETS Browse common target types, their uses, and range safety references in the Learning tab. PAY FOR THE ANALYSIS YOU USE Create an account with your email and password. Eligible devices receive a one-time US$2 analysis credit. Add US$5, US$10, or US$20 in analysis credits through in-app purchases. Analysis usage and charges appear in your account history. Credits do not expire; regional purchase prices are shown before checkout. Internet access is required for AI features. Paid photo analysis uses your account balance. Available in English, Chinese, and Spanish, on iPhone. AI detections and target mapping are estimates. Overlapping holes, torn paper, blur, and perspective can affect results. You can correct markers in the app. Photos and saved records stay on your device; photos selected for analysis are sent securely to our analysis service and OpenAI. For AI guidance, a generated target diagram, firearm and distance details, target description and app language are sent to Gemini.
