A distraction-free EPUB reader built for reading wherever you are. I built One At A Time because I found it difficult to read on public transit. I needed a distraction free e-reader that I could glance away from and pick up right where I left off. FOCUSED & PAGE READING Switch between one-word speed reading and regular page browsing with a single press. Word bookmarks help you jump right back in. YOUR LIBRARY, ON YOUR PHONE Import EPUBs from Files, or browse a curated free library of public-domain classics right in the app. Everything stays on this device. No account required. A WORLD OF FREE BOOKS There’s a world of free literature out there. Access it easily. Browse genres, download classics, and add them to your shelf in a tap. BOOKS ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Keep your current book front and center with a home screen widget. Pick up where you left off without hunting through folders. MAKE IT YOURS Font size, reader placement, light or dark. Configure the reading experience as you wish. FREE FOREVER No purchases. No subscriptions. No upselling. Happy reading. Privacy note: One At A Time does not require an account and does not sync your library to any server. Network is only used when you choose to download a free-library title or open an external catalog link.

About

Epub Reader for Dyslexia

Features

Epub Reader opens the ebooks you already have and makes their text easier to read. It works completely offline. No account, no ads, and no analytics of any kind, so your library stays completely private. READING SUPPORT • Syllable highlighting: every second syllable gets its own colour, so long words break into parts you can see. Currently available for 10 languages. • Line focus: the page dims except for a band around the line you are reading, and you drag that band with your finger. • Easy reading: wider letter, word and line spacing, a warm off-white page instead of stark white, and bold instead of italics. It applies to the whole app, not only to the book text. • Read aloud with read-along highlighting in its own colour, so it is never mistaken for one of your own highlights. • Full typography control: font size, spacing, margins, page transition, light and dark reading themes. FORMATS EPUB, FB2, MOBI, AZW3 and TXT. Non-EPUB files are converted when you import them, so they really open instead of only appearing in the list. YOUR LIBRARY • Import from Files, iCloud Drive or any app that can share a file. • Covers generated for books that have none. • Highlights, notes and bookmarks. • Reading statistics, daily goals and streaks. • Export and backup of your library data. PRIVACY No account. No ads. No tracking. No analytics. The app has no way to send your library anywhere. The interface is available in 65 languages. Syllable highlighting currently covers 10 of them. Word lookup needs a connection and is available on iOS only.
