Dry Fire Practice is a calm dry-fire training app for sport shooters who want repeatable pistol, rifle and shotgun practice without turning training into noise. Safety stays central. Before dry-fire training, always point in a safe direction, confirm the firearm, airgun or training device is unloaded, remove live ammunition from the area, use a safe practice area, and follow your club, range, competition and local safety rules. Microphone input is optional and used only during active sessions and calibration. The app shows when it is listening.

Zero Shot X is a dry-fire practice timer built for competitive shooters: four focused tools, no clutter, completely offline. PAR TIMER Set your par, get a randomized start delay so you can't game the beep, and train your draw against the clock. Multi-rep sets run back-to-back so you stay in the work. CLICK TIMER The microphone listens for your trigger break and records your time from the beep. No extra hardware. A guided calibration learns your room and your trigger so detection matches your setup, and the timer keeps listening past the par beep, so a late break records with its real time instead of disappearing. MULTI-PAR TIMER Sequence multiple cues, transitions, reloads, position entries, and run the whole string as one drill. METRONOME Sample-accurate cadence for draws, reloads, and transitions. Set the tempo, build the rhythm, then push it. VIDEO REVIEW Turn on recording for any timer and review your form with the run's beeps, pars, and clicks marked right on the scrubber, slow motion included. Clips stay on your phone unless you share them. BUILT SAFETY-FIRST A safety checklist gates every session: firearm clear, ammunition in another room, safe backstop, personally verified. Dry-fire discipline is the foundation, and the app never lets you skip past it silently. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS No account. No ads. No analytics. No network calls. Nothing leaves your phone. Microphone audio is analyzed in memory for click detection and never uploaded. Session history lives on your device and exports to CSV only when you ask. ZERO SHOT X PRO Everything is free for 7 days. After that, Click Timer detection, Multi-Par + drills, Video Review, and CSV export are a one-time $19.99 unlock. No subscription. Par Timer, Metronome, and your history stay free. HONEST LIMITATIONS Click detection depends on your environment: a quiet room and a crisp trigger give the best results, and the calibration wizard exists for exactly that reason. Phone speakers are quieter than dedicated range timers; the app maximizes its beeps, and your volume setting matters. Zero Shot X is a training aid for the skills side of the sport: USPSA, IDPA, steel, or your first month of learning a clean, safe trigger press. Always follow the four rules of firearm safety. Never begin a dry-fire session without personally confirming your firearm is unloaded and your practice area contains no live ammunition.
