About

Ensemble Wetter

Ensemble Wetter shows weather forecasts the way they actually are: with an honest uncertainty range instead of a falsely precise single number. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT The daily overview doesn't evaluate a single model run – it evaluates the full 51-member ECMWF ensemble. The spread across those 51 runs is the range you see (e.g. ±3°), a realistic picture of how confident the forecast actually is, instead of a number that only fakes precision. Hourly values, the current forecast, and thunderstorm warnings additionally come from the deterministic ECMWF IFS 0.25° model, which updates more often than the ensemble. FEATURES • Daily overview with a real uncertainty range (±°) instead of false precision • Hourly forecast from the latest model run • Thunderstorm risk calculated from real CAPE values, not just the general weather code • Feels-like temperature and dew point • Automatic GPS location plus any number of manually added places, swipeable like pages • Optional comparison with the GFS and ICON models right in the daily overview • Home screen widget for hourly and daily forecast • Light and dark mode PRIVACY Data goes straight from Open-Meteo to your device – no middleman server of ours, no ads, no tracking, no account required. LANGUAGES German, English, Spanish, Czech, Polish. Weather data by Open-Meteo.com (CC BY 4.0). A habith.eu production.
