Rope Count counts your jump rope skips by listening for the sound of the rope hitting the floor. Put your phone down, press start, and jump. HOW IT WORKS A short one-time calibration teaches the app the sound of your rope: record five seconds of jumping, and it isolates the frequency band and rhythm of your rope's whack. From then on it counts in real time - no wearables, no camera, no guesswork. WHILE YOU JUMP - Big live count you can read from across the room - Time, rate, peak rate, and estimated calories - Mic sensitivity slider you can adjust mid-session - Optional accelerometer backup for noisy rooms - Optional session timer (5 to 60 minutes) - 10-second countdown so you can get in position - The screen stays awake for the whole session AFTER - Session history with rate-over-time charts - All-time totals, best rate, most jumps, longest session - Trend line of your average rate across sessions - Calories estimated from your weight (synced from Apple Health if you allow it), with workouts saved back to Health PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything stays on your iPhone. Audio is analyzed in memory and never recorded, stored, or transmitted. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Works with any rope - beaded, PVC, weighted - anywhere the rope makes a sound when it hits the ground.
