Lanso vs StarTasks

Lanso: Start Speaking the English You Already Know You can read English and write it, and then someone asks you something out loud and everything goes quiet. Lanso is built for that moment. You get a tutor you can talk to whenever you want, who answers in a natural voice within seconds and keeps the conversation going for as long as you need it to. Whether you are preparing for an interview in English or you just want to stop rehearsing sentences in your head before you say them, you get to practice the real thing first. What You Get: • Speak Out Loud From Day One: Every session is a spoken conversation, so the thing you are actually afraid of is the thing you spend your time doing. • Practice With Nobody Watching: Say it wrong, say it again, take ten seconds to find the word. Your tutor waits, and there is no one in the room to hear you struggle. • Start Wherever You Are: Complete beginner or already fairly comfortable, the course meets you at your level and moves up as you do. • Walk Into Hard Conversations Prepared: Rehearse the job interview, the complaint, the networking small talk, ordering food in a country you have never been to. • Sound Like Someone Who Lives There: Your tutor gives you the phrases people actually use, then works them into the conversation so they come out naturally the next time. • Understand Every Reply: Replay any line your tutor says, or read it in your own language the moment you lose the thread. • Talk to a Tutor You Actually Like: Eight voices across four tones, male and female, each with its own way of teaching. Pick the one you would happily spend twenty minutes with. • Fit Practice Into the Day You Already Have: Hands-free mode works while you walk, cook or drive. Your tutor is awake at six in the morning and at midnight. • Keep the Words You Learn: Short vocabulary sessions bring back what each lesson gave you, so it is still there a week later. • Be Remembered Between Sessions: Lanso knows your level, your interests and the mistakes you keep making, and picks up where you left off. • See That It Is Working: Minutes spoken, units finished, a streak that builds. Something to look at on the days it does not feel like progress. Start Speaking Today! Download Lanso and have your first real conversation in the next five minutes. Speak a few minutes a day and you will hear the difference in weeks.
