Spot
Read full descriptionHide full description
Point your camera at anything. Spot pulls the colors out. A flower, a tiled wall, a paperback cover, the light on a building at six in the evening. If you can see it, you can keep it. TWO WAYS TO SPOT Drag a frame around anything in the viewfinder. Spot reads the whole region and returns a palette, ranked by how much of the area each color actually covers. Or reach for the loupe, a magnifier that lands you on one exact pixel, with a dial for the fine adjustment your thumb can't manage on its own. EVERY VALUE, ONE TAP AWAY Each color opens to hex, RGB, HSL, and OKLCH. Tap any value to copy it. Contrast ratios against white and black, graded pass or fail, so you know whether a color survives as type before you commit to it. Tints and shades derived from the color, ready to copy too. And a plain-language note on what the color is: where it sits, how it behaves, whether it works as a surface or as text. NAMES, NOT NUMBERS Spot names what it finds. Iris. Mint. Flamingo. Honey. Periwinkle. Easier to remember than #8E82FF, and easier to say out loud. KEEP THEM, SHARE THEM Save palettes to Spotted, your library. Rename them to whatever the moment was. Heart individual colors to keep them apart from the palette they arrived in. Share a palette as a card, swatches fanned out and hex values printed, straight into Messages or saved to your photo library. EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR PHONE No account. No sign-in. No network code at all. Nothing you capture is uploaded, because there is nowhere for it to go. Your palettes live in the app, on your device. For designers, illustrators, painters, and anyone who has ever stopped on a walk because the color of a door was exactly right.
EveryWall
Read full descriptionHide full description
EveryWall draws minimal wallpapers on your phone, one at a time, and downloads nothing from anywhere: they are born on the phone the moment you look at them. 77 generative patterns - hills, waves, arches, terrazzo, circuits, paths - and 26 curated palettes: Sunset, Oceano, Salvia, Terracotta, Nordic, Sakura, Vulcano, Caffรจ, Corallo and the rest. Swipe to change pattern, tap a ramp to change colours: the full screen preview updates at once, in your phone's real proportions. What you see is what you save. BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD iOS does not let any app set your wallpaper. That is not an EveryWall limit: Apple opens that door to no one. EveryWall saves the image to Photos at your screen's exact resolution, and from there you set it in two taps from Settings, Wallpaper. WHAT YOU CAN DO - Surprise me: a brand new composition, picked at random. - New variation: the same wallpaper rolled again, like a fresh throw of the dice. - Harmonic palettes generated on the spot, for when the 26 are not enough: pick the character you want, from monochrome to neon, and the colours come out in tune with each other. - Light and dark mode, film grain, adjustable density. - Favourites: set a wallpaper aside and find it identical months later. - Wallpaper of the day: a composition decided by the date, the same all day long, with its own home screen widget. THE WALLPAPER CODE Every wallpaper has a short code that describes it completely. Share the code and whoever receives it gets the identical wallpaper back, on a phone or on a computer: the code is text, so it survives the apps that compress images. Sharing a wallpaper sends image and code together. NOTHING AROUND IT No account, no ads, no purchases. EveryWall never connects to the internet and collects no data at all: favourites stay on the phone, images stay in your Photos. ALSO ON YOUR COMPUTER The same generator lives at everywall.app, with the same patterns and the same palettes. A code made there works here, and the other way round.
