Halm vs Schichtklar

Halm is a calm journal and a clear calendar for everything that gets too loud in your head. Simply speak about whatever is on your mind: thoughts, appointments, to-dos, ideas, worries, or memories. Halm transcribes your voice recording and helps you turn it into structure. The local AI detects whether your brain dump should become a journal entry, a calendar entry, or a free note. This way, you don’t need to sort your thoughts before you let them go. WHAT HALM CAN DO • Record brain dumps via voice • Automatically sort thoughts into journal or calendar • Recognize appointments, deadlines, and to-dos from spoken text • Use the journal for reflection, mood, and memories • Use the calendar for planning, appointments, and structure • Calm, minimal design without unnecessary noise • Local AI directly on your device • No cloud requirement, no forced servers WHO IS HALM FOR? Halm is for people who want to type less and let go more. For crowded minds. For overthinking. For journaling that doesn’t feel like work. For anyone wanting to collect thoughts, appointments, and memories in a peaceful place. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Halm works locally on your device. Your thoughts are personal — and that’s exactly how an app should treat them. No unnecessary distractions. No cluttered dashboards. No productivity noise. Just a quiet space for what truly matters.
