Arnage vs E2linkTV

Arnage is a warm, cinephile player for the media library you already own. Follow a series, and every new episode downloads itself in the background — ready to watch even with no signal. Connect it to your home server and open your films and shows in a calm, photographic interface — on your iPhone and your iPad. — Follow a series, never miss an episode — Follow a show and Arnage downloads each new episode for you, quietly, in the background. Board the plane with the next three already on your iPhone, no Wi-Fi required. — Made for people who curate their own collection — A quiet, photographic interface that treats your library like the collection it is — continue watching, recently added, and a hero that highlights what's worth your evening. Looking for something in particular? The filters in the Library tab get you there fast, with artwork sized right for every screen. — Playback that respects the file — • Every file plays directly by default — never re-encoded — with HDR tone-mapped on the spot so it looks right even on an SDR screen. • On a weak or metered connection, set a quality cap and your server scales the stream down to fit — so you keep watching. • PGS subtitles and TrueHD audio. • Your audio and subtitle track choices are remembered for each film and series. — A player built for watching — Swipe across to seek, slide along the edges to set volume and brightness, double-tap to skip — and scrub with live thumbnail previews to land on the exact moment. Pop the video into Picture-in-Picture to keep an eye on it while you get on with something else. — iPhone and iPad, each its own — Designed for each screen rather than stretched between them. — Compatibility — Arnage works with Jellyfin and Plex today — point it at the server you already run. More are on the way. — A word on privacy — Arnage is not an advertising surface. We collect two things, both anonymous and both optional: crash reports, so we can fix what breaks, and usage analytics, so we know which features matter. You'll find both switches during onboarding — before you connect to anything — and any time in Settings → Privacy. Nothing is ever sold, shared with advertisers, or tied to your identity. Your library, your viewing history, and your credentials are never sent to us — and your watch progress lives on your own media server, never on ours. — Status — Arnage is in active development. Expect rough edges, expect care.

E2linkTV is a native front end in 8*LANGUAGES for the Enigma2 receiver you already own. Point it at your set-top box on your home network and your bouquets, channels and programme guide appear on your iPhone (available also for tvOS and macOS), in an app that opens in a second and then gets out of the way. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. There is no account to create, no server in the middle and no advertising. The app talks to your box, and to nothing else. *THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING MY WORK* WATCHING • Every bouquet and every channel, with the picons your box already publishes • Now and Next in the list, and the whole day's schedule for any channel while it plays • Zap to the next channel instantly, or open the strip along the bottom and jump anywhere in the bouquet • Audio track, aspect ratio and deinterlacing set per channel and remembered • Buffer size per channel, from off to five seconds, for connections that need the headroom • A stream that drops out is picked back up on its own, without leaving the channel YOUR SETUP • Up to four receivers, switched from the header without leaving the channel list • Each receiver keeps its own channel sort order • Choose which bouquet opens at start-up • Direct IPTV for boxes carrying IPTV bouquets — station logos and a programme guide come from the portal when the box itself has none • Transcoding where your image supports it PARENTAL CONTROL • A PIN locks individual channels or whole bouquets • Locks are kept per receiver, so the box in the kids' room and the one in the living room stay separate • A locked channel is masked in the list, in the guide and in the zap strip — not merely blocked when you try to play it WORKS WITH Receivers running Enigma2 with OpenWebIF enabled: OpenPLi, OpenATV and similar images on Octagon, Vu+, Dreambox, Zgemma and others. Playback is powered by VLC, so unusual codecs and containers are handled. FREE AND PRO The free tier covers one receiver and the first ten channels of your first bouquet — enough to see the app working against your own box before you pay for anything. Pro unlocks up to four receivers and every channel in every bouquet. Neither tier carries advertising. Seven interface languages: English, Slovak, German, Spanish, French, Polish and Hungarian. E2linkTV is not affiliated with any receiver manufacturer or Enigma2 image project. E2linkTV Pro is an auto-renewing subscription: • E2linkTV Pro — 6 Months • E2linkTV Pro — Year Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
