MD-1 is a cassette-inspired recorder for iPhone built for people who miss warmth, instability, and happy accidents. It combines vintage tape behavior with modern recording workflows, minus broken belts, dirty heads, and finding out your favorite cassette got eaten. TAPE CHARACTER CONTROLS Five sliders. Five ways to ruin perfection. Push the input gain into the red. Add Tape Wear for softened highs and tired old cassette energy. Drive Saturation for harmonic grit and glue. Introduce Wow & Flutter for subtle instability and capstan wobble. And change Tape Speed from 0.5x to 2.0x, with pitch following along as real tape would. Digital audio has spent decades trying to eliminate these things. We put them back. TWO TAPE FORMULATIONS Ferric (Type I): warm, bass-heavy, beautifully imperfect. Chrome (Type II): brighter, cleaner, slightly more civilized. Different EQ curves. Different saturation. Different personalities. RECORD WITHOUT THE DRAMA Punch in anywhere without losing the rest of your take. Monitor your input before recording. Watch your levels on a proper analog-style VU meter. Keep track of time with a mechanical tape counter because honestly… DAW timelines are boring. EXPORT YOUR WAY AAC. WAV. Dry. Saturated. Clean-ish. Completely cooked. Send recordings anywhere via AirDrop, email, SoundCloud, or whatever app your music disappears into next. BUILT LIKE A PIECE OF GEAR Portrait for quick captures. Landscape for full control. Supports USB audio interfaces, microphones and external gear. Double-tap Tape Speed to snap back to 1.0x. And yes, the reels spin faster when you speed up the tape. We know that doesn’t improve the sound. That’s not why we added it. MojoDeck MD-1 The best cassette recorder since the death of cassette recorders.

FinalFX (“final effects”) is an AUv3 effects plugin that can run standalone, or in any AUv3 compatible host such as Logic Pro, GarageBand or AUM. FinalFX currently runs on iOS (iPad & iPhone) and macOS (Intel & Silicon) and is available as a Universal Purchase from the Apple App Store. If you’re planning on using FinalFX on Mac / desktop, please ensure that your favourite DAW / host supports AUv3 (not just AU). Overview FinalFX is a collection of audio processors useful for mixing and mastering, often referred to as a “channel strip”. Typically you’d add FinalFX literally as your final effects on a stereo master or mix bus channel. FinalFX has been specifically designed to introduce no additional latency in the audio processing chain, and as the CPU load has also been minimised, it can be used in live sound applications. FinalFX comprises three main modules: EQ is a general purpose six band equaliser that can also process in mid / side mode. The frequencies and resonances for each band are fixed, so this EQ is more about subtle, overall tone-shaping, than surgical precision. For example, reducing bass or adding presence. The EQ’d signal can also be mixed with the original dry signal. MID / SIDE focusses on the stereo image with individual gain controls for the middle and sides content of stereo audio, as well as an overall width control which can reduce a stereo signal down to mono. COMPRESSOR / LIMITER adjusts final dynamics and loudness and comprises two compressors in series with variable threshold and ratios. The first compressor stage also has a mix control. This section also includes a variable soft / hard clipper stage and overall output volume control.
