WristClaw puts your AI agent where it actually belongs — on your wrist. Pinch the button. Speak. Drop the wrist. Your OpenClaw agent hears you, thinks, and replies in voice. When the answer needs a picture, you get a thumbnail. When you need to type, the watch lets you. No phone in the loop, no laptop on standby — just you, the watch, and a claw that's got your back. UNDER THE SHELL • Standalone watchOS app — works over the Watch's own LTE or Wi-Fi, no paired iPhone required after setup • End-to-end encrypted (X25519 ECDH + ChaCha20-Poly1305) — the relay is a dumb router, never sees plaintext • HKDF-SHA256 key derivation, fresh nonce per message • One-time pairing via QR — your private keys never leave the device that generated them • Push-to-talk voice in, voice out, JPEG thumbnails ≤ 40 KB • Built on Apple's CryptoKit. No third-party crypto. No mystery dependencies. Hard shell. WHO IT'S FOR You already use OpenClaw. You're tired of pulling out your phone to ask the agent something. You want to think out loud while you walk, drive, cook, or work — and you want answers in your ear, not on a screen. WHAT IT'S NOT Not a phone-tethered remote. Not a chatbot wrapper. Not a place that sells your conversations to anyone. Not even a place that *can* — the relay is mathematically deaf to your messages. PAIR ONCE. WEAR DAILY. MOLT NEVER. 1. Launch on iPhone, tap Pair 2. A QR code appears with the session ID and the watch's public key 3. Your OpenClaw agent scans (or you paste the payload), confirms 4. The watch connects autonomously after that — phone optional from this point on Snap to it. — Requires watchOS 10+, iOS 17+, an Apple Watch Series 4 or later (cellular recommended for true standalone), and an OpenClaw agent you can pair with. Turn on the optional wrist-down clock to switch back to the in-app clock when you lower your wrist. Pair a knowledge library with a custom AI expert role, and use them together when asking questions about your PDFs, notes and documents. Configure a supported provider, model and your own API key. AI answers require an Internet connection. API usage is separate from WatchAI Pro. Available providers and models depend on your App Store region; unverified relay services remain unavailable. BACK TO THE CLOCK Choose the optional wrist-down clock when you want the app to return to a clock display as you lower your wrist. Custom clock styles inside the app are available with Pro. YOUR KNOWLEDGE, YOUR EXPERT • Import PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, TXT, Markdown, CSV, JSON and common image files on iPhone. • Organize knowledge bases by course, project or topic. • Create custom AI expert roles with instructions for different tasks. • Select a knowledge base and an expert role together. Relevant document passages and your expert instructions help guide the configured AI service's answer. • Review available document excerpts and web sources to check the details. YOUR SUPPORTED MODEL Configure the provider and model you want from the services supported for your App Store region. Add your own API key. Requests are limited to recognized service hosts; this does not enable arbitrary providers or unknown relays. FROM IPHONE TO APPLE WATCH Sync your knowledge index, service and search settings, expert roles and conversation history. After syncing, Apple Watch can make requests independently when it has a network connection and valid service settings. Use voice, handwriting or the system keyboard to ask questions. The interface supports English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Spanish and French; language selection syncs to your paired watch. YOU CONTROL SHARING Documents and history are stored on your devices and may sync to your paired watch. iPhone API keys use the system Keychain. Before content is sent, the app identifies the recipient, service or model and data involved, then asks for explicit consent. You can refuse or revoke permission and keep using local materials, history and the in-app clock. Third-party retention and deletion follow the recipient's privacy policy. FREE AND PRO The free version supports one knowledge base. WatchAI Pro unlocks multiple knowledge bases and custom clock styles inside the app. Monthly Pro renews automatically. Eligible subscribers can receive a one-month free trial. Your local subscription price, billing period and trial eligibility are shown in the App Store and before purchase. To stop renewal, cancel in your App Store subscription settings at least 24 hours before the trial or current billing period ends. A lifetime purchase is also available. Buying lifetime access does not automatically cancel an existing monthly subscription. Availability and trial eligibility are determined by the App Store. Verdict

The call

WristClaw and WatchAI are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
