Xtra Hands helps your household manage chores, allowance, rewards, and shared lists — without turning every evening into a reminder loop. Give everyone a clear list of responsibilities. Reminders go to the person responsible, not to you. Parents see what's done, what's missed, and every balance in one place. Shared lists help everyone stay informed about what the household needs. WHAT XTRA HANDS DOES - Daily chore lists — everyone sees what's due today, with time windows, instructions, and carry-over chores. - Parent dashboard — track progress, chores, balances, and reward requests in one place. - Shared lists — create grocery lists, shopping lists, and household checklists everyone can update. - Photo approvals — require proof for important chores before they count as complete. - Allowance & rewards — earn money or stars for chores and redeem custom rewards with parental approval. - Honest ledger — every credit and debit is recorded, so balances are always clear. - Fair rotations — automatically rotate chores daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly. - Home & lock screen widgets — check chores and balances without opening the app. - Calendar & reports — look ahead, review missed chores, and track completion over time. - Flexible devices — use personal phones, a shared tablet with PIN switching, or parent-managed check-off. SHARED LISTS FOR EVERYDAY LIFE "Nobody told me we were out of that!" Sound familiar? Now anyone in your household can add items to shared lists whenever they think of something. Keep a grocery list everyone can update. Track household supplies before they run out. Create packing lists for family trips or shopping lists for upcoming projects. Whoever handles the shopping can check items off along the way. No more scattered messages, forgotten requests, or expecting one person to remember everything. BUILT FOR REAL HOUSEHOLDS Not every chore needs the same rules. Carry over unfinished chores that still matter. Let quick chores expire. Mark someone away and their chores pause instead of piling up. WHO IS XTRA HANDS FOR? PARENTS TIRED OF REPEATING THEMSELVES Stop asking whether the dishes, laundry, or daily chores are done. Give kids clear expectations and let reminders do the reminding. FAMILIES TEACHING RESPONSIBILITY Help kids build independence with daily routines, age-appropriate chores, and rewards that recognize their effort. PARENTS MANAGING ALLOWANCE Replace mental math and forgotten promises with a clear record of earnings, spending, and rewards. Kids know what they've earned, and parents stay in control. BUSY HOUSEHOLDS Between school, work, activities, and everyday responsibilities, staying organized takes teamwork. Keep chores and shared lists where everyone can see them. COUPLES & ROOMMATES You don't need kids to need a chore chart. Split cleaning, rotate responsibilities, and share grocery lists without one person managing everything. CO-PARENTS & BLENDED FAMILIES Keep both parents involved with a shared view of responsibilities, progress, and rewards, even across two homes. FAMILIES WITH YOUNGER KIDS Not everyone needs their own phone. Use a shared family tablet or let parents manage chores for younger members. LESS NAGGING. MORE TEAMWORK. Xtra Hands isn't about turning your home into a competition. It's about clear expectations, shared responsibility, and helping everyone contribute. No ads. No bank linking. No selling your data. No leaderboards or streak pressure. Your first member is free, and a second parent never costs extra. You only pay as more members join in. Download Xtra Hands and get everyone on the same page. About

Intentions

Features

A day is a finite amount of time. Not an infinite list. Most to-do apps let you keep on adding. With no restrictions. Intentions asks how much of the day is actually yours to allocate to tasks — three hours, five, eight ‚ then shows that time filling up as you add to it. When the bar turns red, it is not a warning. It is arithmetic. HOW IT WORKS Add an intention and give it a rough length: 15 minutes, 30, an hour, or two. No sliders, no minute-by-minute entry — false precision is one of the key things that Intentions argues against. The availability bar keeps the running total so you don't have to. Swipe right when something is finished. Swipe left into the Incubator, where it waits - sorted by how long it has been waiting - until you're reading to bring it back into the day. SOMEONE TO KEEP YOU HONEST Pick a coach. Bea is warm and firm and wants you to finish. Nigel keeps score and raises an eyebrow. Ivy does not do pep talks and what simply tell you when something doesn't fit. They watch how your day is stacking up and say something about it: in the morning check-in, in the evening round-up, and when an intention has been carried for five days and needs a genuine decision rather than another chance to carry over. Rename them, swap them when you need a different personality to guide you, or hide them and go at it without guidance. WHAT ELSE DOES INTENTIONS OFFER 1. A dedicated home screen widget: what is next and how full the day is 2. Siri capture — say "Add to my Intentions" and it lands in your Incubator with the app shut 3. A morning check-in and an evening round-up, at times you choose 4. Midnight rollover — anything unfinished incubates or rolls over. Your choice 5. An options that simply refuses anything taking today past your hours 6. Backup to a single file, kept somewhere of your choosing to restore at a time that suits you NO ACCOUNT. NO CLOUD. NO WATCHING There is nothing to sign up for. Your intentions live on your device in a database only this app can read. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is analysed, and there is no server to lose it from. A backup goes where you send it and nowhere else.
