Cerebo is a powerful flashcard app for subjects that don't fit on a plain index card. Build rich cards with LaTeX math, code, tables, images, audio and PDFs, then use spaced repetition to remember them. Write cards with real formatting — LaTeX math, syntax-highlighted code, tables, images, audio and PDFs — then let proven spaced repetition decide what you see and when. BUILT FOR REAL SUBJECTS Most flashcard apps give you two text boxes. Cerebo gives you a block editor: stack text, math, code, tables and media in any order, on the front and the back of a card. • LaTeX math, rendered properly — inline and as display equations • Function graphs — plot curves, or a 3D surface you can rotate with a finger • Syntax-highlighted code blocks • Markdown tables, headings, lists and quotes • Images, audio recordings and PDF attachments • Extract text from a photo or scanned page with OCR • Cloze deletions — hide any part of a card and reveal it as you go • Link related cards together and jump between them • Read any card aloud, or translate it in place • Generate a card's answer with Apple Intelligence — entirely on-device, on iPhones and iPads that support it SPACED REPETITION THAT DOES THE WORK Cerebo schedules each card with the SM-2 algorithm — the same approach behind decades of memory research. Cards you find easy move out to longer intervals. Cards you struggle with come back soon. • A per-deck daily limit on new cards. Reviews are never capped, so nothing that's due is ever hidden from you • Learning steps, lapse handling and adjustable ease • Browse mode when you want to read through a deck instead of being tested • A statistics view with a review heatmap, retention rate and a workload forecast for the days ahead BRING YOUR EXISTING DECKS • Import Anki .apkg and .colpkg files — cards, media, cloze, reverse cards and nested decks all come across • Nested Anki decks become categories automatically • Import an Anki package straight into an existing deck, or copy cards from one deck to another — duplicates are skipped • Import and export CSV and JSON • Export back out to .apkg any time — your cards are never locked in EVERYWHERE YOU STUDY • Apple Watch app for reviewing on your wrist • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets showing what's due • Live Activity that tracks a study session in progress • Siri and Shortcuts — "open my Pharmacology deck" • Spotlight search finds individual cards • Full keyboard, Dynamic Type and VoiceOver support YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Cerebo collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking — the app makes no network calls of its own. Everything works offline. iCloud sync — on by default when you're signed in, and one switch to turn off — moves your decks between your own devices through your private iCloud account, which only you can read. FREE — NO ADS, NO SUBSCRIPTION Cerebo is free. No subscription, no paywalled decks, no ads, and nothing to buy inside the app. Questions or feedback: satwikdev12@gmail.com
