Amparo vs Prevyu

Amparo is the period and cycle tracker built around one principle: your data is yours alone. No cloud. No servers. No accounts. No tracking. No analytics. No third-party SDKs. Everything you log stays on your iPhone — encrypted, private, and under your control. In a world where period apps have been subpoenaed, sold to data brokers, and breached, Amparo takes a different approach: nothing leaves your device. Ever. — PRIVACY BY DESIGN — Amparo doesn't collect data because there's no server to send it to. We can't read your information, share it, sell it, or hand it to anyone — because we never have it in the first place. The only place your cycle history exists is on the device in your hand. — PHASE INTELLIGENCE — Most cycle apps just tell you what day it is. Amparo tells you what your body is actually doing. Each day, get hormonal context, energy guidance, workout recommendations tuned to your phase, foods that support you, mental strengths you can lean into, and gentle medical watchpoints — all grounded in cycle physiology, not horoscopes. — LIVE ACTIVITIES & DYNAMIC ISLAND — Your cycle day in the Dynamic Island. A glanceable cycle ring on your home screen and lock screen. See where you are without opening an app. — SIRI & SHORTCUTS — Hands-free check-ins. "Am Par Oh, what day am I on?" "Am Par Oh, when's my next period?" "Am Par Oh, log period started." All processed entirely on-device — Siri never phones home with your cycle data. — SMART INSIGHTS — Beautiful Swift Charts visualizations of your basal body temperature, cycle length variation, energy patterns, and which symptoms cluster in which phase. Track patterns over time without sharing them with anyone. — FACE ID LOCK — Optional biometric lock so your cycle stays private even if your phone is unlocked. Activate in Settings. — EXPORT YOUR DATA — CSV export anytime. It's your data — no lock-in, no walled garden. — ONE-TIME PURCHASE — $4.99, once. No subscriptions. No premium tier. No ads. Every feature, forever. If you've been paying $12.99/month for a cycle app that monetizes your most sensitive data, Amparo is the alternative. Built by Retrac Labs — retraclabs.co

Progress in the gym is easier to judge when you can see what changed, not just what the scale says. Prevyu turns progress photos into a clear physique record. Follow a cut, bulk, recomposition or weight-loss phase with body-composition readings, proportions and a Progress Score connecting your start, current state and chosen build. SEE YOUR PROGRESS TODAY Today brings together your Progress Score, start, current and goal photos, body-fat and lean-mass direction, and key proportions. Each reading estimates body fat from your photo. Add weight and Prevyu calculates lean mass and FFMI for a fuller picture. UNDERSTAND YOUR SCORE See how body fat and lean mass drive your score. Estimates are rounded and smoothed so one noisy check-in does not rewrite your history. With enough data, Pro shows the sustained fat loss or lean-mass gain needed for the next score band. COMPARE CHECK-INS Compare any two check-ins with an automatic before-and-after view or drag slider. Review comparability, body-fat direction, regional changes, goal alignment and next actions. Prevyu warns about mismatched photo angles. GET A THREE-ANGLE ASSESSMENT Capture front, side and back photos for a fuller view of development, balance, proportions and posture. See your absolute development level, compare regions with your chosen physique and review progress between assessments. Get one training focus for the next eight weeks. MEASURE MORE THAN WEIGHT Track shoulder-to-waist, waist-to-hip and waist-to-height, plus a posture screen. Tap a supported result to see its measurement lines on the source photo. Compatible landmarks are measured on-device. GET A CLEAR NEXT STEP Coach combines your score, weight trend, consistency, proportions and latest assessment. It leads with the decision that matters now and shows the evidence behind it. USE TOOLS BUILT FOR YOUR PHASE Ask Bulk or Cut for a clear call to cut, bulk, recomp or maintain. Create an AI goal preview from your latest check-in and chosen build. It illustrates direction, not exactly how you will look. TRACK WEIGHT-LOSS AND GLP-1 PROGRESS Following a clinician-guided weight-loss plan, including a prescribed GLP-1 medication? Keep weight, visible change, estimated body fat and lean-mass direction in one record. Add a measured body-fat result whenever you have one. Prevyu does not track medication, manage doses or side effects, or provide medical advice. BUILT FOR CONSISTENT CHECK-INS - Unlimited photo check-ins and progress history - Progress Score, milestones and measured proportions - Two free body composition readings each month - Unlimited manual entry of measured body fat - Your first Body Assessment, first Bulk or Cut analysis and one goal preview included - Prevyu Pro adds readings on every check-in, full score breakdowns, proportion trends, unlimited comparisons, Bulk or Cut analysis, Body Assessments, three monthly goal previews and unwatermarked progress cards PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your photos and check-in history are private to your account.
