Stroop Shooter is a game that aims to develop selective attention, cognitive shifting and mental processing speed, in which color names and colors and contrast are presented. The names of the colors are presented in different colors, aiming to give you the reactions you choose instead of your automatic reactions. In Stroop Shooter Game, you are asked to hit the circle with the same color as the name of the color. For example; When you see the red text in blue, you need to hit the red one of the circles lined up on the screen. Doing this as fast as possible will allow you to score more points without speeding up the game dynamics. With this accelerating dynamic, you push the limits of your attention every second. In the Stroop Shooter Game, where speed and attention are combined, 8 of 10 different colors are positioned around a random circle in each game. You are expected to hit the circle that has the same color as the color written on the shoot mechanism in the middle of the game screen. You get points for every correct hit. If you make 3 wrong hits in total, you will lose the game. The circular dynamic structure in Stoop Shooter changes gradually and becomes more difficult with certain time intervals with elements such as acceleration, rotation, and guiding obstacles. Your gaming experience will thus be exponentially more challenging, fun and enhancing. The Stroop effect is an indicator of cognitive interaction in which a delay in the reaction time of a task occurs due to dissonance in stimuli. The Stroop Effect, which was discovered by J. R. Stroop in 1935 and the test he developed, is a test that measures the reaction speed of a person in a certain event in the science of psychology. Besides psychology, this test is widely used in different fields such as neuroscience and linguistics. Considering the ease of use in the gamification process, the response time in the Stroop Tests has been ignored. The user is provided with a more flexible answering opportunity. It is recommended that users react to colors as quickly as possible for full development and impact. ABOUT THE GAME The game is designed to improve selective attention, cognitive flexibility and mental processing speed, taking into account the Stroop Effect. There are 10 different colors in total in the game. 8 randomly selected colors are used on each game screen. Each game has a total of 3 wrongs. There is no time limit in the game. Difficulty elements such as acceleration, rotation and guiding obstacles are added to the game at certain time intervals. No personal data is collected and requested. It is completely free. The development process continues.
