Build a clearer picture of a classroom's listening environment. Classroom Acoustics by Hear2Learn helps parents, teachers and practitioners explore background noise, signal-to-noise, reverberation and practical room observations. Follow the graphical Guided view one check at a time. See four clear results, their status and a useful next step. A teacher-to-child illustration helps explain listening, while a room report keeps the supporting evidence available for discussion with the school. Switch to Detailed view whenever you need specialist controls. Choose selected BATOD (British Association of Teachers of Deaf Children and Young People) and BB93 criteria, the research-led Universal Acoustic Design framework or the advisory ASHA/ANSI benchmark. Detailed view also offers contextual comparisons with published classroom-acoustics references from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and Sweden, with each reference's room conditions and source shown. The signal-to-noise indicator uses the lesson level above background noise; its method and limitations are explained in the app. Use the built-in microphone or a compatible external microphone. Check the level against an acoustic calibrator or calibrated sound-level meter, import supported microphone compensation files, or enter a separate sound-level meter result. For reverberation, record three claps or use swept sine with a suitable connected loudspeaker. Detailed view includes octave-band T20, C50 and Schroeder decay evidence. Strategy and repeat assessments require Unlimited. Guided and Detailed views are included with every plan and share the same saved rooms. Try fictional examples and keep one real room free. Guided Annual keeps up to five saved assessments. Unlimited Annual or Unlimited Lifetime adds unlimited saved assessments, repeat assessments and Strategy. You can choose Unlimited directly. Annual plans are alternatives; Apple manages changes between them. Buying Lifetime does not cancel an existing annual subscription. Annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in Apple subscription settings. Restore purchases is available in the app. Evidence stays on your device unless you deliberately export it. Optional photographs can accompany room records. Share a PDF or full and de-identified evidence exports. No account is required, raw classroom audio is not retained, and native purchases are separate from Hear2Learn web purchases.
