Pattern
Read full descriptionHide full description
Pattern reads the seven days you just lived and tells you what they mean. Apple Watch already tracks your sleep, HRV, heart rate and steps. Your calendar already holds every meeting and focus block. None of those apps look across the lines. Pattern does โ fully on your device. Each morning you get one short paragraph: "Tuesdays your HRV drops 12% โ the days you had three back-to-back meetings before noon." No number dumps, no medical advice, no charts to interpret. The pattern itself. Deep Work sessions are built in. Tap to start a 25, 50 or 90 minute focus block โ the timer is wall-clock anchored so it survives the screen locking. Each session gets a one-tap reflection: deep, shallow, or interrupted. Over time Pattern correlates which sessions actually moved you, and adjusts what it suggests next. Everything stays local. The language model runs on device โ Apple Foundation Models on iOS 26, or a downloaded open-source model. Your health data, your calendar, your reflections, your sessions โ all live in a Files-visible folder on your iPhone. No account, no sync, no servers.

Block distracting apps, then unlock them with a real-world key. TapFocus makes focus physical. Instead of relying on willpower alone, you can turn an NFC tag, QR code, or barcode into a Focus Key โ a small real-world step between you and your most distracting apps. Place a Focus Key on your desk, by your bed, across the room, or anywhere you want to create intentional friction. Start a focus session, block the apps you choose, and unlock again when you scan your key. Use an NFC tag for a simple tap-to-unlock ritual, print a QR code for a low-cost setup, or scan a barcode on an object you already own. No special hardware required. Build your own focus system โข Block distracting apps during focus sessions โข Unlock with NFC tags, QR codes, or barcodes โข Create Focus Keys for different routines โข Put your unlock key across the room, at your desk, or away from your bed โข Build simple rituals for work, studying, sleep, reading, or deep focus โข Add intentional friction before you open distracting apps Useful for โข Staying off social media while working โข Keeping your phone away from bed โข Reducing impulsive app checking โข Creating a DIY focus setup with NFC tags โข Printing QR keys for rooms, notebooks, or desks TapFocus is not another focus timer. It is a physical ritual that makes focus easier to start โ and harder to break. Tap. Scan. Focus.
