Practice Timer

With Practice Timer, see your improvement as you go. Build your plan, follow the timer and track your musical progress. Practice Timer lets you build that sequence as one plan, then guides you through it with clean audio cues — so your eyes stay on the music and your hands stay on the instrument. You can also use the randomize function to change the order of exercices within a sequence. HOW IT WORKS • Build a plan from exercices: warmup, technique, repertoire, drills. • Configure intervals per exercices — exercise's time, rest, and repetition. • Press start. Audio cues mark every transition. • Finish, see your session summary, watch your daily streak grow. WHY THIS DESIGN Built around three principles from motor-skill and memory research: • Focused attention has limits — short, structured blocks are more effective than long, unfocused sessions. • Memory consolidates during rest — built-in breaks aren’t time off; they’re part of the learning process. • Interleaved practice beats blocked practice — switching modes helps skills stick. Just press Start. The structure does the work. WHO IT'S FOR — Conservatory students — Working musicians — Hobbyists who want practice time that actually counts — Teachers structuring lessons or assigning practice * Practice Timer is free to download and requires a Practice Timer Pro subscription to use: $9.99/month or $59.99/year (prices may vary by region). New subscribers get a 3-day free trial with the yearly plan. All features shown are included with the subscription. Cancel anytime in your App Store settings. Intonation Master
Read full descriptionHide full description
See what you play. Made for bowed-string instruments—violin, viola, cello, and double bass—Intonation Master shows your pitch on a live grid and displays the notes you play on a staff. Follow a phrase, spot where your pitch drifts sharp or flat, and listen back to your performance. The free version includes up to 60 seconds of recording per take, playback, and recovery of your current take. Choose your instrument and key signature, then use the grid, notation, or both. The tuning reference is A4 = 440 Hz with equal temperament. Unlock Full with a one-time purchase to record up to 60 minutes per take, save and name recordings, import WAV and M4A files, and adjust the A4 reference. Choose equal temperament, just intonation, or Pythagorean tuning. No subscription. Supports Family Sharing. Audio is analyzed on your device. Recording works only while the app is in the foreground. Pitch detection currently covers 55–2400 Hz and does not include the lowest double-bass notes. Instrument presets adjust the display range, not the range of pitches the app can detect.
