Nobody's quietly doing more. ChoreDivider splits chores fairly for couples and roommates. Everyone secretly rates how draining each chore is for them. You get more of what you mind less, and the load still comes out fair. Most chore apps split housework by count or by turns: one for you, one for me. But ten minutes of dishes is nothing to one person and the worst part of the day for another. ChoreDivider asks the question most apps skip: how draining is this, for you? HOW IT WORKS 1. Rate. Everyone in your home rates each chore from 1 (barely notice) to 10 (wipes me out). Your numbers stay sealed until everyone has rated, so nobody copies anybody. 2. Split. ChoreDivider works out the split on your device: fairness your way first, total dread as low as possible second. Calculated properly, not a rough rule of thumb. 3. See why. Tap any chore and it tells you why it landed with you: "You rated it 8, Marie rated it 3, she finds it lighter. Your two weeks still come out even." WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT Your number counts for you. If you hate ironing, the app tries to keep ironing away from you and gives you something you mind less. Fair the way you mean it: the same time or the same effort, with your own agreed shares if you like, for example when one of you works full time and the other part time. A ledger, not a leaderboard. A rolling balance over 14 days shows who's ahead. Old imbalance ages out on its own; nobody carries debt. Less mental load: the app deals the chores every day and the ledger keeps count, so nobody has to hand out chores or track who did what. No points, no streaks, no levels. The fair split is the reward. Whatever the app deals, it explains. "Why me?" has an answer. BUILT FOR REAL HOMES Couples, roommates, families. Two people or a full house. Works with one device. Add your partner, roommates or kids by name, rate on their behalf, and hand over the device so they can check things off as themselves. Invite anyone with an iPhone or iPad through iCloud. Everything syncs on its own, works offline, catches up later. On iPad, the Today screen gives everyone their own column. Chores that happen once, daily, once or several times a week, up to four times a month, or every few days or weeks, on days you pick or days the app picks. Pin a chore to one person if it's always theirs. Swipe a chore to skip it today when you're eating out. More than one household? Switch between them without leaving any. Projects: the someday list (clean out the garage, paint the fence) lives apart from chores. Each of you ranks them two at a time, and the rankings merge into one shared queue where nobody's list wins. A single daily reminder, at the time you last opened the app or one you pick. No nagging notifications, no red badges. Trends: eight weeks of minutes per person, side by side. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS No account, no signing up. Your household lives in your own iCloud, not on a server of ours. No ads, no tracking, no data sold. Anonymous usage statistics can be switched off. Export everything as a file whenever you like. FREE AND PREMIUM Free for one person, 5 recurring chores and 5 projects, for as long as you like. With two or more, everything is free for 7 days, then Premium. Premium removes the limits and unlocks all eight weeks of Trends, for the whole household at once: one of you buys, everyone is in. Monthly or yearly subscription, cancel any time. Household Pass: buy once, keep it forever. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Each keyword has an “elevation” that represents its importance. Tasks with higher-priority keywords rise toward the top automatically. -- Priorities That Adapt -- Move a task up or down to show DunCrux what matters to you. Its keyword priorities adjust over time, allowing your task list to evolve alongside your goals. -- Capture And Organize -- • Create tasks quickly • Add due dates and snooze tasks until later • Break large tasks into nested subtasks • Use @keywords in task text or add #tags • Search and filter your work • Create saved task views • Review upcoming and completed tasks -- Understand Your Workload -- Explore insights into completed tasks, open work, keyword priorities, and activity patterns. See how your workload changes and discover when you are most productive. -- Local First By Design -- DunCrux’s core task-management features work without an account. Your workspace remains available locally on your device, even when you are offline. Cloud sync is optional. Sign in when you want to keep your DunCrux workspace synchronized across supported devices.
