The network at this cafe โ is it good enough? Tap once. Ten seconds later you have a verdict. Great, Good, OK, Slow, or Very Slow, with per-activity guidance for video calls, cloud apps, streaming, and uploads. WiFi or cellular, whatever you're on. YOUR PERSONAL WORK-FROM-ANYWHERE MAP Save the places that pass. Skip the ones that don't. Over time you build a private map of the cafes, coworking spaces, and hotel lobbies you've actually tested. Leaving the house with your laptop? Open the app. The good spots are already there. The longer you use it, the better it gets at telling you where to go. GOOD ENOUGH IS FOR YOU IF โ You take calls from places that aren't your desk โ You've walked into a cafe and walked back out because the WiFi and cellular connection couldn't hold a call โ You've given up on the WiFi and hotspotted off your phone for the rest of the afternoon โ You've wished you'd written down which spot worked and which didn't NOT ANOTHER SPEED TEST Most speed tests give you a number. 247 Mbps. Cool โ what does that mean? Can you take the call? Will Figma or Google Docs save? Or do you need to give up and switch to hotspot? Good Enough makes sense of the number, and remembers the spots worth coming back to. Built for remote workers, freelancers, and people who enjoy working from anywhere. WHAT'S INCLUDED โ Unlimited connection checks on WiFi and cellular โ Plain-English verdicts and per-activity guidance โ Save up to 3 places โ Check history with export BETTER ($2.99, ONE-TIME) For people whose list outgrew three spots a long time ago. โ Save unlimited places โ Home screen widgets โ your map and your latest check, at a glance โ Compare each check to your last visit โ Share results WAY BETTER ($2.99/mo or $14.99/yr) The longer you use Good Enough, the more it learns. Patterns by spot, by time, by network. The slow hour at your favourite cafe. The cellular dead zone you keep forgetting about. โ Pattern Intelligence โ your places, surfaced through your own data โ Trends across hours, days, and weeks โ Side-by-side place comparison โ Smart alerts for slowdowns, recoveries, and network switches โ Cellular quality alerts (iOS 26) โ Live monitoring during work sessions โ Monthly report cards PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No accounts. No tracking. Your checks, your places, your patterns โ all stored locally on your phone. iCloud sync is optional, and only ever syncs to your other Apple devices. If you want to help others find good work spots, there's one opt-in setting that contributes anonymous test results โ public venues only, no user identifiers, no exact location. Off by default. Your map is yours either way. Available for iPhone, iOS 18 or later. Some features require iOS 26. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula
BufferSpeed

Your speed test says 300 Mbps. Your video call still stutters. Both things are true, and the number is not the problem. Speed is what your connection does when it's idle. What actually breaks calls, games and streams is what happens when the line gets busy: a backup starts, someone uploads a video, a console downloads an update. That's bufferbloat, and an ordinary speed test isn't looking for it. BufferSpeed measures both. WHAT YOU GET Download and upload speed Idle latency and latency under load, the difference is the story Jitter and packet loss A bufferbloat grade from A to F, explained in plain language for calls and games Test history, so you can tell a bad evening from a bad connection WHY LATENCY UNDER LOAD MATTERS A connection that answers in 20 ms when idle and 400 ms when busy will feel broken during exactly the moments you care about, no matter how big the speed number is. Fibre and gigabit connections aren't immune. The delay usually comes from a queue in your own router filling up, not from the speed you're paying for. BufferSpeed shows you the gap, grades it, and explains it in language you can repeat to whoever needs to fix it. BUILT FOR EVIDENCE One bad test proves nothing. Results are saved on your device so you can see whether a problem is constant, only in the evenings, or only on one network. The core connection test doesn't require an account or subscription. Optional account-linked and AI features use online services and may send the data needed to provide them. A linked BufferSpeed account is required to purchase and use AI credits. Anonymous result contributions and diagnostic reporting can be controlled in Settings. This app measures and explains. It doesn't change device or router settings or guarantee a faster connection. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND AI CREDITS Optional Pro, Guardian and Agency subscriptions are available monthly or annually. Current prices appear in Settings under Plan & Subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Restore Purchases is available in the app. AI credit packs of 500, 2,000 and 10,000 credits are separate one-time consumable purchases for a linked BufferSpeed account, not subscriptions.
