You write in your language. They read in theirs. Nobody taps a translate button. MiLa Chat translates messages right on your device using Apple's on-device technology. Nothing is sent to a server to be translated, it works offline, and it costs nothing. THREE SIDES OF ONE IDEA Read — incoming messages in another language appear in yours. One tap shows the original. Write — as you type, you see the translation into your recipient's language, and you can edit it before sending. Listen — turn a voice message into text with one tap, then that text gets translated too. A Japanese voice note becomes readable in your language. EVERYTHING A MESSAGING APP NEEDS • Private chats, groups and channels • Voice and video calls, media travels directly between devices • Voice messages, photos, video • Secret chats with end-to-end encryption and self-destructing messages • 24-hour stories • Anonymous posting in groups PRIVATE BY DEFAULT • No phone number required. Sign up with email or Apple. • We never read your address book. Add friends by username or QR code. • No ads, no third-party trackers. • Translation and transcription never leave your device. • Delete your account inside the app, instantly and completely. SAFETY Block and report are available on every message. Every report is handled within 24 hours. Note: translation and transcription require iOS 18 or later. Older devices get full messaging, calling and voice messages.
