When your child asks a why-question, Whyzard gives you two layers, side by side — a calm, kid-friendly answer you can read together, and a real adult-level explanation underneath. So you're not reciting; you're learning alongside them. HOW IT WORKS • Type or speak any question your child has asked, or one you're both curious about: "Why is the sky blue?" "Why can birds fly?" "Why can't I have ice cream before dinner?" • Get a two-layer answer in seconds — a kid-friendly framing first, your own deeper layer underneath. When a "why" is really about a rule or a feeling, Whyzard tells you so and gives you one calm answer instead of two. • The kid-facing answer, read aloud. • An honest note flags what the answer leaves out, and when your child will be ready for that next layer. • Follow-up suggestions help you go deeper if either of you stays curious. • After each answer, a few open-ended questions to ask your child back — each with a quick answer ready for you. • A starter question every day, in case you want a fresh question to explore together. LEARN TOGETHER, IN TWO LAYERS The for-your-child layer is the words you can read aloud together — tuned to how your child takes in ideas, from first plain-spoken explanations to a well-read kid ready for bigger words. Set your child's level once, and every answer comes back fitted to them. The just-for-you layer is a real explanation written for the parent — as deep as you want, from a quick gist to the full mechanism behind it. You and your child learn together, instead of you relaying a script you don't fully understand. BUILT FOR CURIOSITY — LEARNED TOGETHER The why-questions kids ask all day — about sky, weather, animals, space, bodies, dreams, why things work the way they do. Each one becomes a moment to wonder about together. WHY IT'S NOT ANOTHER CHATBOT • Built for two readers, not one. Open it with your child — answer on screen, conversation in the room. • No account, no sign-up, no waiting. Open the app, ask, read together. • Your conversation history stays on your device. SIRI-READY "Hey Siri, ask Whyzard why the sky is blue." A calm answer comes back on screen. ASK IN ANY LANGUAGE Whyzard auto-detects the language of each question and answers in the same language. — Whyzard is for the questions kids ask and parents don't always have words for. Open it together. Read it together. Keep wondering together. — WHAT'S FREE, WHAT'S PLUS Free includes five questions a day, one child profile, and a daily turn with the premium read-aloud voice. Whyzard Plus lifts the daily limit, makes room for up to five children, and opens the premium voice for everyday reading. — Whyzard Plus is an auto-renewable subscription. Focus Meter
Read full descriptionHide full description
Focus Meter is a visual focus timer for students and anyone who wants to concentrate. See your remaining time at a glance — not just as numbers, but as bars, a line, or a ring. It looks like a piece of desk stationery, so you'll actually want to leave it out on your desk while you study. ■ Days Until Your Exam Add your exam or mock test date and Focus Meter counts down the days, hours, minutes and seconds. The timer screen always shows "X days to go," connecting today's session to the day that matters. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets are included. ■ Three Timers • Countdown — for study, reading, work, or timed practice tests • Pomodoro — alternate focus and breaks to stay sharp longer • Dual — run a total session and a Pomodoro at the same time (for example, 25-minute cycles inside a 90-minute block) ■ Three Ways to See the Time Standard bars (like the LCD on a desk timer), a minimal line meter, or a ring. Two themes — Calm and Sharp — so it fits your desk. ■ Block Distracting Apps While You Focus (Pro) Temporarily block the apps you choose — social media, games — but only while your timer is running. Everything unblocks automatically when the session ends, even if the app was closed. Need out early? Use Emergency Unlock and write down your reason. Phone calls and emergency features are never blocked. ■ A Record Worth Keeping Completed sessions are saved as Today, Streak, and Total. You can share a card of your progress. ■ Built Not to Break Your Focus • Lock mode during a session (prevents accidental taps) • Keeps the screen awake / notifications • Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island • Portrait and landscape (desk mode) • Ad-free with Pro ■ Focus Meter Pro (one-time purchase) Removes ads and unlocks the Dual timer, ring and line displays, the Sharp theme, app blocking during focus, and unlimited exam dates and presets. A single purchase — no subscription, no further charges. Great for exam prep, professional certifications, working from home, or reading. A quiet, readable timer you'll want to keep on your desk.
