The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Vinyl Layer at none against Track Record's 1. Vinyl Layer also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Track Record's advantage is update cadence (daily vs fortnightly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
