EgySpots vs Tessera

EgySpots is where Cairo's youth find out where everyone's hanging out right now. Open the map and see live hangout spots near you — car meets, street carts, pop-ups, open-air gatherings — with 6-hour stories posted by people who are actually there. DISCOVER WHAT'S HAPPENING See a live heatmap of where people are gathering across Cairo. Every spot is found and added by real users, not businesses. 6-HOUR STORIES Photos posted at any spot expire after 6 hours — keeping the feed honest and live. If no one has posted in 6 hours, the spot is quiet. CHECK IN Let others know you're there. Check in when you arrive and your presence updates the crowd level in real time. SPOT FOUNDER Be the first to add a spot to the map and become its permanent founder — credited every time someone visits. WHAT YOU'LL FIND - Street Carts — juice, food, and mobile vendors - Car Meets — spontaneous and organised - Hangouts — open-air gatherings and rooftops - Pop-Ups — temporary events and markets - Open Air — parks, corniches, and outdoor spaces Every spot shows simple tags: Food · Drinks · Shisha · Music · Free Entry EgySpots is not a restaurant guide. It is Cairo's live social layer — built by Egyptians, for the streets of Egypt. Age 13+. Location permission required for nearby spot discovery.

Tessera is an end-to-end encrypted messenger built for conversations, not profiles, feeds, or advertising. MADE FOR iPhone Duo • On the outer display, the back button, the tab bar and other buttons sit in the bar along the side, and your conversation stays clear of it. • Turn the inner display sideways to see your chat list and the open chat side by side. • iPad gets the same side-by-side layout in landscape. • On iOS 26 and later, the tab bar and buttons use Liquid Glass. NO PHONE NUMBER OR EMAIL Create an account as a key pair on your device. There is no phone number, email address, password, social login, contact upload, advertising identifier, or behavioral analytics. CONVERSATIONS ONLY MEMBERS CAN READ Text, group messages, and images are encrypted on your device using Messaging Layer Security (MLS, RFC 9420). The service delivers ciphertext and does not hold the conversation keys. ADD PEOPLE DELIBERATELY Every contact starts with a deliberate action: enter their account ID, or scan their QR code in person when identity matters most. Conversations and groups are invite-only. RECOVERY YOU CONTROL Your 12-word recovery phrase restores your identity on a new device. Tessera cannot reset it for you. Message history does not follow a restored identity because conversation keys are intentionally excluded from the backup. HONEST SECURITY BOUNDARIES End-to-end encryption protects content, not all metadata. The service can see operational information such as IP addresses, account IDs, conversation membership, timestamps, sizes, platform, and push tokens. Tessera is not an anonymity network and does not claim to resist device compromise or global traffic analysis. REPORT, BLOCK, AND DELETE Report an account from a conversation and choose exactly which text excerpts to submit for human review. Block unwanted accounts; future messages from them are stopped before delivery and do not trigger push notifications. Delete your account permanently from Settings. Tessera has not yet undergone an independent security audit. We use an open IETF standard and mature open-source components, but that is not a substitute for reviewing the finished implementation. Two halves. One truth. Privacy Policy: https://tessera.innofun.digital/privacy/
