Dry Days
Read full descriptionHide full description
Book your dry days before the week starts. At the start of the week, mark the days you plan to drink. Every day you don't mark becomes a dry day. Instead of counting the days you didn't drink, you decide the drinking days first. ■ Book first, then record ・Tap a date to make it a drinking day ・Everything else is a dry day. One tap each evening records how it went ・You can also record straight from the notification ■ You set the deadline for adding a drinking day ・Same day / day before / three days before ・Past the deadline, a day can no longer become a drinking day ・Recording that you drank is always open. Only changing the plan afterwards is closed ・Extending the deadline takes effect next week; shortening it applies right away ■ Counted by the week, so one day doesn't erase everything ・A ring shows how many dry days you kept this week ・Slip once and the ring still starts from zero next week ・Weeks that went as planned are marked on the calendar ■ The morning after, in your own record ・One tap logs how you woke up ・Mornings after a dry day and after a drinking day are shown side by side, with counts ・Nothing is shown until you have three of each ■ What you didn't spend, with the arithmetic ・Set an amount per drinking day and your dry days add up ・The formula is always shown next to the total ■ Also ・One-line notes ・Export and import your records ・Home Screen widget ・App lock with Face ID ・Six languages Everything stays on your device. No account required. This app is a tool for keeping your own record. It does not provide medical advice.

Verdict
AlcoTrack and Dry Days are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. AlcoTrack sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.99 per year and Dry Days sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
