Nest

A pregnancy tracker that turns forty weeks into a calm, private journal. If you are a mom to be who wants every kick, contraction and bump photo kept on your own device rather than on a corporate server, Nest is built for you. It is a gentle companion from positive test to birth day, with no account, no sign-up and no cloud upload. Your prenatal notes stay on this phone, and the app works the same way on the plane, in the elevator and in the hospital wing with no signal. Useful whether this is your first 9 months, an IVF or high-risk pregnancy that needs careful notes for your OB, a second-time round where you already know what you want to track, or a quiet space to share weekly memories with a partner. Every feature described below is unlocked only with an auto-renewable subscription purchased inside the app. New users receive a 3 day free trial; you may cancel anytime during the trial to avoid being charged. Open the app and the week-by-week timeline shows fetal development, body changes and daily tips across all forty weeks of prenatal care. The ACOG-aligned kick counter logs fetal kicks with the ten-in-two-hours method, the contraction timer captures frequency, duration and intensity at a tap, and weight, blood pressure and symptom tracking sit beside an appointment scheduler with doctor notes. A photo card per week becomes your baby diary, and the third-trimester checklist keeps hospital bag and birth plan ready. A weight gain chart sits beside the bump photos so you can see the curve and bring it to your next visit instead of squinting at three apps. Beyond the basics, Nest handles the parts of pregnancy that other trackers ignore. Mood and energy entries ride beside the medical numbers without judgement, food aversions and cravings log in two taps, and a kick-and-contraction history view lets you spot patterns over days, not just minutes. If labour starts at 3 in the morning, the timer is one tap from the Lock Screen, and the contraction list exports to a tidy summary you can read aloud to the triage nurse. Twin pregnancies get parallel tracks, and miscarriage and loss entries are handled with quiet care rather than a confetti screen. The interface ships in 15 languages with full VoiceOver and Dynamic Type, smart reminders nudge you before appointments and milestones, and a discreet mode hides sensitive content on a shared device. Baby growth, contractions and kicks stay on your phone unless you choose to sync with Apple Health. There is no account, no cloud, no third-party server in the loop — the data is yours and it stops at the edge of your device. Unlock with Pro: - Live Activities for kicks and contractions on the Lock Screen - Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets so your week is always glanceable - Apple Watch app for kick counting and contraction timing from your wrist - PDF health report for your doctor and Apple Health two-way sync - Unlimited photo memories, birth-prep notes, premium icons and themes Subscription Pricing & Terms Features require a subscription. Pricing and terms available in-app. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription and free-trial conversion in Settings > Apple ID after purchase. A fast, private counter for Braxton Hicks, baby's kicks, and real contractions. Free, with no ads and no account — made by a dad for his wife, and shared so it can help other moms too. Made for the moment itself: one tap logs a Braxton Hicks, and the two numbers that matter — today's count and the rolling 60-minute count — are always on screen. KICK COUNTER • Turn it on and a second button appears beside the Braxton Hicks one, on iPhone and Apple Watch • Kicks today, and how long the last ten took — the count-to-10 measure providers ask about CONTRACTION MODE, READY FOR LABOR • Switch in one tap from the Track screen when it's the real thing • Start/Stop timer records each contraction's length • Live "since last started" and "last one lasted" counters — the numbers you actually watch • The 5-1-1 pattern as a checklist: about 5 min apart, about 1 min long, for about an hour, each with its current value and a tiny trend of how far apart they're getting • A notification when the pattern is reached • Discard a false start; a forgotten Stop is closed automatically and stays editable STATS THAT STAY OUT OF THE WAY • Hour-by-hour chart for any day, with scrubbing • 7-day view with weekly totals and daily average • In contraction mode: a minutes-apart trend and a log with length and spacing columns • Tap any entry to edit its time or duration, down to the second APPLE WATCH + WIDGETS • Full watch app: log from your wrist with the same counters • Watch-face complications and iPhone lock-screen widgets • Phone and watch sync instantly, both directions SHARE WITH YOUR PROVIDER Export a one-page PDF summary for appointments, or a complete CSV spreadsheet. OPTIONAL EXTRAS • Hourly alert: a notification if the rolling 60-minute count reaches your threshold (default 6 — the common "call your provider" guidance before 37 weeks) • Pregnancy week: set your due date to see the current week and time remaining PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No ads. No analytics. Your data lives on your devices and in your own private iCloud — nowhere else. This app is a tracker, not medical advice. Contact your provider about anything that concerns you.

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Braxton Hicks at none against Nest's 2. Nest's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (18 vs 26.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
