Wagering Wanderer — a maze of probability that betrays intuition. Will you cross the rotting suspension bridge or fall into the chasm? Which of the two doors should you open? Out of three doors, should you really switch? A new kind of score attack that fuses cinematic two-choice scenes with the very probability paradoxes mathematicians have wrestled with for centuries. Key Features Cinematic Stage Direction Each stage has its own dedicated two-choice scene: suspension bridges, forked forest paths, locked doors, abandoned cabins, fairies in the deep woods, mossy chests guarded by a sage, legendary swords, the ancient Mouth of Truth. Moonlight, mossy stone, drifting fog, collapsing wood are all rendered with care. Every choice becomes a moment in a story, not just a probability. Authentic Probability Paradoxes The Monty Hall problem. The two-envelope problem. The St. Petersburg paradox. The gambler's fallacy. Counterintuitive probability events are baked into the stage mechanics. Just by playing, you will feel why "switching is better," "passing is better," or "accepting is better." Session Stats and Achievements Every session aggregates whether you are a "switcher" or a "stayer," whether you ride streaks or fight them. The more you play, the more your decision-making patterns become visible. The Bayesian Sage Finale After the boss, the sage reads your choices. Declare yourself from six factions and compare the declaration with your session stats to earn a bonus. Whether your self-image matches the data or not, every answer earns a bonus — knowing yourself and discovering yourself are both rewarded. Extra Mode: Five Doors (in-app purchase) One of five doors hides treasure. Pick a door and the sage opens three losers; stay and win for +400, switch and win for +100. Rounds continue until a snake appears - a once-a-day score attack with its own leaderboard, separate from the main game. Global Leaderboard (optional) Compete on three axes — best score, best stage, and total runs — across four windows: all-time, today, this week, and this month. Participation is optional: the first time you open the leaderboard you are asked whether to join, and nothing is sent until you agree. You can opt in or out any time from Settings. Pick a player name on first launch, or let "Auto-pick" generate one like "Wanderer#1234". Optionally link your Apple ID or Google account to keep your ranking when you switch phones or reinstall. You can unlink at any time from Settings, or sign out to start over with a fresh anonymous ID. Simple Controls Just tap. Play in short bursts or settle in for a long run. Recommended For People interested in probability or mathematical paradoxes Fans of simple, score-focused games Anyone curious about visualizing their decision-making patterns A short, thoughtful break during commutes About In-App Purchases The full game is free to play. Three optional in-app purchases are available: - "Remove Ads" ($1.99, one-time): Banner and interstitial ads are completely hidden. Rewarded videos remain available. - "10 Tickets Pack" ($2.99, consumable): Lets your ticket balance exceed the soft cap of 10 up to a hard cap of 99. - "Five Doors" ($2.99, one-time): Unlocks the Five Doors extra mode. Each run uses one ticket. You get 3 tickets on first launch, +3 every day (up to 10), and +1 for watching a rewarded video (once a day), all for free. About Ads Banner ads appear only on the title screen, and full-screen ads at most once every 3 game overs (never on your first). Video ads play only when you choose to watch one for a ticket or a revive (once per run). Choose whether to see personalized ads any time under "Ad settings" in Settings. Daily Reminder Every evening at 6 PM you get a nudge such as "Time to test your luck today!" It is skipped on days you have already played, and you can turn it on or off any time with "Daily reminder" in Settings.
