RxTyper
Read full descriptionHide full description
RxTyper is prescription typing practice for pharmacy technicians and students. 900+ prescriptions across 22 dosage forms, graded field by field. You read a script and enter it the way you would at the counter β medication, date, DAW, quantity, days supply, refills, the sig, and the prescriber. Then you find out exactly what you got wrong. Not just βincorrectβ: which field. Useful for pharmacy technician students preparing for the PTCB (PTCE) or ExCPT exam, and for new techs before their first shift. WHAT YOU PRACTICE 900+ prescriptions across 22 dosage forms β tablets, capsules, ODT, oral suspensions, eye and ear drops, inhalers, nasal sprays, insulin pens, transdermal patches, creams, ointments, suppositories and vaginal inserts Sig codes β type the shorthand, watch it expand into the full instruction Days supply, which is a different calculation for every form: drops per mL, puffs per canister, units per pen including priming, whole bottles for suspensions, wear interval for patches Prescriber lookup, DAW, refills and date entry INCLUDING THE ONES THAT ARE WRONG Not every prescription that reaches you is correct. Some show a days supply the quantity will not cover. Some name a dosage form that the instructions contradict. Noticing that is the job, so the practice bank includes them. A BREAKDOWN, NOT JUST A SCORE Every answer is graded field by field β name, date, DAW, quantity, days supply, refills β and the instruction is broken down further into action, route, dose amount, frequency, special instructions and duration. When a sig is marked wrong you can see which part of it missed. TRACK WHAT ACTUALLY NEEDS WORK Overall accuracy, question-by-question review, and a running record of the mistakes you repeat. PRO Unlimited practice β no daily limit Targeted days supply practice: drill one kind of calculation at a time β inhalers, insulin pens, drops, liquids, patches β instead of whatever comes up A calculations breakdown showing your accuracy per category, this week against last week, and the areas responsible for most of your errors Week-over-week statistics Custom sig codes β add and edit your own Detailed instruction error tracking Without Pro you get 15 questions a day, every dosage form, and full answer breakdowns. Every prescription, prescriber name, phone number, NPI and DEA number in the app is fictional training material. RxTyper does not connect to any pharmacy system and does not handle real patient information. RxTyper Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, available monthly ($4.99) or yearly ($29.99). Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period. Aperture
Read full descriptionHide full description
Most practice journals can only ever agree with you. Aperture is built so it can tell you nothing happened. It hides the target, seals what you recorded before you can revise it, and scores your impressions against what was actually in the photo. You don't have to wonder whether you're improving. You can look. A SESSION, STAGE BY STAGE - Cool-down: a short breathing pacer to quiet the analytic mind - Ideogram: a fast reflexive mark, then tag the basic gestalt - Sensory: colors, textures, temperatures, sounds, forms - Sketch: the spatial layout, on a full canvas - Assemble: your final impressions, before you commit - Reveal: only now does the target appear, and the scoring begin Until you commit, the target is never shown, hinted at, or inferable. You work from a meaningless reference number. YOUR GUT, KEPT SEPARATE FROM YOUR GUESSES Raw sensory impressions stay visually separate from flagged guesses (AOL: the mind's premature conclusions). Flagging a guess never costs you points. That separation is the habit the whole method is built on. SCORING YOU CANNOT FUDGE Your score is how much of what you sensed matches what was really there, judged against a fixed vocabulary set in advance rather than your memory of what you meant. It rewards accurate sensory data, not lucky label-guessing, and shows you which impressions matched and which missed. Log enough sessions and it will tell you plainly whether you are beating chance. A REFEREE, NOT AN ORACLE (SUPPORTED IPHONES) An optional AI judge reads the session you already sealed and scores it against the target. It can lower a generous score but never inflate one, and it never tells you what you will perceive next time. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR IPHONE No account, no analytics, no server of ours. Your sessions live on your device. Optional Pro sync goes only through your own private iCloud, and the judge runs on-device, so nothing you write is sent anywhere for analysis. FREE TO TRY, PROPERLY Your first 3 sessions are complete and full-featured: the whole protocol, the full target pool, real scoring. Aperture Pro then unlocks: - Unlimited sessions - The full 300+ target library - Analytics that show your results against chance - Unlimited named viewers with separate histories - Relay mode: two people, one hidden target, revealed together - Session export (JSON) Aperture Pro is $6.99/month, or $39.99/year with 1 month free, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Aperture builds on Controlled Remote Viewing, the six-stage protocol developed at SRI in the 1970s and the subject of declassified government research. It makes no claims about psychic ability and predicts nothing. It is a practice journal and an attention-training tool. Test yourself, collect your own data, draw your own conclusions.
