Your credit card balance is not your real spending. Charges sit in Pending for days. Some disappear from both lists before they post. Meanwhile you keep spending, the number falls further behind, and the end of the month becomes a surprise. LiveSpend closes that gap. Instead of manually logging every purchase or waiting for your bank app to update, it reads the transaction alert emails your bank sends for each charge. You can see what you have actually spent and what is actually left, without waiting for charges to post. Try LiveSpend free for 14 days with an eligible subscription. HOW IT WORKS 1. Turn on transaction alert emails in your bank app (one-time setup, we show you how). 2. Connect the Gmail or Microsoft inbox that receives your alerts with read-only access. No bank login, ever. 3. Spend like you always do. LiveSpend tracks supported purchases as your bank sends the alerts. WHAT YOU GET - Your real total, live. Pending charges already counted. - A spending pace view that shows if the cycle is moving too fast, before it is gone. - Home Screen widgets. See your spending total, target status, and todayβs spending target without opening the app. - All your cards in one view. Totals and categories across every card, or one at a time. - Recurring expenses found automatically. LiveSpend spots your subscriptions and bills, shows what is coming, and flags when a price changes. - Automatic categories. Every charge arrives already sorted. - A projected finish line for where your spending is heading. - Category targets and alerts, tuned to how much you want to hear. - Weekly insights that surface your patterns and how your habits shift. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - Read-only email access. LiveSpend uses your connected inbox to identify supported transaction alerts. It cannot send, edit, or delete email. - No bank login. You never enter banking credentials. - Disconnect anytime, in one tap. - Your data is never sold. WHAT YOU NEED LiveSpend works with credit cards from RBC, Scotiabank, BMO, CIBC, and National Bank, with more on the way. It reads alerts from supported Gmail and Microsoft inboxes. Microsoft support includes Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, and eligible Microsoft 365 work or school accounts. Microsoft 365 access may be restricted by your organizationβs administrator. Debit and Interac e-Transfer tracking are on the way. FREE TRIAL AND SUBSCRIPTION LiveSpend requires a subscription after any applicable free trial. A 14-day free trial is available to eligible subscribers on qualifying plans. Trial availability is shown before you confirm your subscription. - Monthly: CA$9.99, billed monthly. - Yearly: CA$49.99, billed yearly. Prices are in Canadian dollars. After any free trial, your subscription automatically renews at the price of your selected plan unless canceled. To avoid being charged after a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Renewal charges may be processed up to 24 hours before the next subscription period begins. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Canceling does not end access to your current paid subscription period. Stop guessing what is left. Spensei logs every Apple Pay purchase seconds after you pay and tells you what is safe to spend today. No bank login, and your purchases are stored on your iPhone, not on our servers. HOW IT WORKS Set up one Shortcuts automation, once, with the steps in the app. From then on every Apple Pay tap lands in Spensei on its own, sorted into a category, with a short note on your screen. WHAT YOU GET β’ Left today: your monthly limit, or your pay minus your bills, turned into one number for today. Tap it to see exactly how it is worked out. β’ A note the moment you pay, with the amount, the category and what is left today. β’ Belts for days on track. Close enough still counts, and a belt is never taken away. β’ A morning note with how yesterday went. β’ Habits that add up, like a coffee run that costs more a year than you would guess. β’ Your month in review on the 1st. β’ Subscriptions, with a reminder before each renewal and before a free trial ends. β’ A heads up when a shop charges you twice, while you can still ask for it back. β’ Goals: save toward something, or keep the month under a number. β’ Home screen widgets. β’ Add a purchase by hand for cash, debit or anything Apple Pay does not see. ASK ABOUT YOUR MONEY Ask in plain words and get answers worked out from your own numbers: the figures are calculated first, then explained. The chat is optional and asks before it sends anything. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Apple Pay purchases are kept on your iPhone. Spensei never sees your card number and never asks for a bank login. Connecting a bank through Plaid is optional and in beta. SPENSEI PRO Tracking, the daily number and everything on the Spending page are free. Spensei Pro adds more from the chat: 30 answers a day instead of 30 a week, 15 advanced answers a day, and photos and PDFs. Monthly or yearly, with a 7 day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your App Store account settings. Spensei is a spending coach, not a financial adviser. Its answers are general information, not professional advice.
