Clackalyzer lets you build a personal library of keyboard sessions โ€” each one a complete snapshot of a build at a moment in time. Audio recording, build photo, spectrum snapshots, notes, and ratings, all in one place. Over time your library becomes something valuable: a history of every board you've owned, every mod you've tried, every switch you've tested. You can go back, compare, share, and actually remember what that build sounded like six months ago. **Each session captures:** โ€ข A WAV audio recording โ€ข A build photo โ€ข Full build metadata โ€” board, plate, switch, foams, mic distance โ€ข Spectrum snapshots and spectral profile from the live analyzer โ€ข Ratings across five categories: Sound, Feel, Build Quality, Customization, and Value **Free recording modes** Four guided session types are provided: Comparison, Solo Switch, Typing Test, and Freestyle. Each one walks you through setup with a placement tip and best-practice checklist, counts you down from three, and auto-finishes when the session is done. **Your library** Browse every session with waveform previews, key build photos, acoustical metrics, and ratings at a glance. Tap any session for full playback, spectral profile, band energy breakdown, and complete build metadata. Save comparisons to revisit anytime. **The tools** A real-time FFT spectrum analyzer runs while you record โ€” log-scale frequency display from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, peak hold, EMA average, cursor readout, and up to 6 labelled spectral peaks. **Clackalyzer Pro โ€” $9.99, one-time unlock, no subscription** โ€ข Compare โ€” record with Comparison Mode (Gentle, Normal, Hard, Rapid, and Typing Test steps timed to a metronome), then compare any two sessions side by side with A/B audio playback, spectrum overlay, band energy breakdown, and a plain-English summary of every sonic difference. Save comparisons and export to PDF. โ€ข Export & Share โ€” share sessions as WAV or M4A for use in any DAW or audio tool โ€ข Frequency Filter โ€” cut low rumble or high hiss to zero in on your switch's true sound โ€ข Noise Calibration โ€” remove room noise so more of your keyboard's sound comes through โ€ข Waterfall Spectrogram โ€” real-time scrolling spectrogram view โ€ข FFT size control โ€” fine-tune frequency resolution โ€ข Three additional exclusive themes based on popular keycap sets; Metro-ish, Beige and Neon... (Kudo's to Nephock at NK!) **Themes** Five themes modeled after popular keycap sets. Default and Light are free โ€” Metro-ish, Beige, and Neon unlock with Pro.

About

Scroll Volume Remote

Features

Scroll Volume Remote is the free iPhone companion to Scroll Volume for Mac โ€” a macOS utility that turns the menu bar into a volume target. This app on its own does nothing useful. Its only job is to remotely control the Scroll Volume Mac app from your phone, by acting as a wireless volume wheel. If you do not own and run the Mac app, there is nothing here for you. WHAT IT IS, AND WHAT IT IS NOT This is not a generic "Mac remote" or a universal volume controller. It cannot adjust the volume of a Mac that does not have Scroll Volume installed and running. It cannot control any other application, system setting, or media playback. It cannot connect to anything other than a Mac running Scroll Volume. It is a single-purpose add-on to one specific Mac app. If you have the Mac app: this is a small, free bonus that lets you change your Mac's volume from a few meters away. If you do not have the Mac app: please install it first from the Mac App Store. The Mac app is the product. This app is the remote. HOW IT WORKS WITH SCROLL VOLUME FOR MAC Install Scroll Volume for Mac from the Mac App Store on your Mac. Launch it. Then open this app on your iPhone โ€” it will look for Macs nearby that are running Scroll Volume, and offer to pair with them. Tap to pair. From then on the two devices recognize each other automatically. Spin the wheel on the phone, and the Mac's system volume changes โ€” one notch on the phone, one step on the Mac. Mute and unmute work too. The two devices communicate directly using Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework over Bluetooth and the local Wi-Fi network. There is no router-only requirement, no internet involved, and no servers in the middle. We do not run any. Traffic stays on your local link. KEY POINTS โ€ข Free companion to the Scroll Volume for Mac app โ€” does nothing without it. โ€ข Acts as a wireless volume wheel for the paired Mac running Scroll Volume โ€” fluid, one notch per step. โ€ข Direct device-to-device link over Bluetooth and local Wi-Fi. No internet. No accounts. No servers. โ€ข Pair once, reconnect automatically. The app remembers Macs you have paired with. โ€ข Single-purpose. The app does this one thing and nothing else. PRIVACY BY DEFAULT Scroll Volume Remote collects nothing. No accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporting services, no third-party trackers. The only thing the app keeps on disk is the name of Macs you have paired with so it can reconnect. That information never leaves your device. The app runs in the iOS sandbox. PERMISSIONS โ€ข Local Network โ€” required so the app can discover your Mac on the same Wi-Fi network. You will be prompted on first launch. โ€ข Bluetooth โ€” required so the app can discover and talk to your Mac when there is no shared Wi-Fi network, using Apple's peer-to-peer Bluetooth. REQUIREMENTS iOS 16 or later. A Mac with Scroll Volume for Mac installed and running. The Mac app is sold separately on the Mac App Store and is required โ€” this iPhone app has no use without it. The two devices need to be on the same local Wi-Fi network, or have Bluetooth turned on, to discover each other.
