Measure Better is the simplest way to use your Reekon digital tape measure. No account creation. Install the app, pair your tape over Bluetooth, and start measuring. Once paired, just pull the tape. Measure Better speaks each measurement aloud the moment your tape stops moving — so you can keep your eyes on your work, your hands on your material, and your phone in your pocket. The phone doesn't need to be unlocked or even on screen. As long as the app is installed and your tape is awake, you'll hear every measurement. Built for real work, Pull the tape. Hear the measurement. Save it with a single press of the button on the tape itself. Need to mark the center of a board? One button press toggles Center Mode, and the app speaks half the length. Need to measure from wall to wall, case included? Measure Back mode adds the body of the tape automatically. Setting up a fence-guided cut on a circular saw? Fence Reference handles the blade-to-fence offset math for you. Your Reekon tape measure, now talking. Measure Better speaks every measurement aloud so you can measure confidently without looking at the screen. Pull the tape, hear the value, press the save button to record it — completely hands-free. Built for VoiceOver users and anyone who needs their hands free on the job. WHAT IT DOES • Speaks measurements aloud when the tape stops moving • Reads fractions naturally ("six and a half inches") • Works through AirPods, hearing aids, Bluetooth speakers, or CarPlay • Measure Back, Center, Fence Reference, running totals, and a labeled notebook • Imperial or metric, fractions or decimals, precision to 1/64" • Pair both your 16-ft and 25-ft tapes and switch freely WORKS WITH Reekon T1 Tomahawk and T1M (16 ft and 25 ft) Bluetooth digital tape measures. Five actions, one button The save button on your Reekon tape measure does five different things depending on how many times you press it. One press saves to your Notebook. Two presses adds the measurement to a running total. Three presses toggles Measure Back. Four presses toggles Center Mode. Five presses toggles Fence Reference. No menus, no taps, no looking at the phone. Notebook and export Every saved measurement lands in the Notebook tab with a timestamp. Label each entry with a custom name like "Kitchen doorway" or "Closet width," and export the whole list as a text message, email, or shared file when the job is done. Imperial, metric, fractional, decimal — your choice Switch between Imperial and Metric on the fly. Pick fractional inches, decimal inches, feet-and-inches, decimal feet, millimeters, centimeters, or meters. Spoken measurements use natural language — "eighteen and three quarter inches" instead of "eighteen point seven five" — so you can write down or call out a value just the way a carpenter would. Works with Reekon T1 Tomahawk (25 ft) Reekon T1M Utility (16 ft and 25 ft) Audio anywhere Measurements play through whatever audio output your iPhone is using — Bluetooth headphones, AirPods, a Bluetooth speaker, a hearing aid, a car stereo, or the iPhone's built-in speaker. Just put on your headphones and the measurements follow you. Accessibility Measure Better was developed with full support for blind and low-vision users built into every function. VoiceOver is fully supported throughout the app. You will not need any assistance to install, run, or use Measure Better. Every screen, button, and announcement was designed and tested with VoiceOver as a first-class experience, not an afterthought.

Hear the Light turns light into sound, so you can "hear" where brightness is around you. It was designed from the ground up for people with vision loss. Point your device's back camera in any direction and listen to a tone that rises as the light gets stronger. This makes it easy to find a window, check whether a lamp is on, or tell if a device has an indicator light lit. What makes it stand out: It detects even very small device lights — such as the LED on a router, a TV on standby, or a charger. Of all the apps of this kind we have tested, it is the only one that reliably picks them up. For very faint lights, the room should be dark so they stand out from any other lighting. Extremely fast response: the tone changes instantly as you move the device, noticeably faster than other similar apps. Features: Vibration feedback with variable intensity, independent of sound: use sound, vibration, or both together. Ideal if you have trouble hearing. (Vibration requires an iPhone.) Colour recognition: hear the basic colour of a small light, for example red, green or blue. It is a helpful guide, with best results in a dark room, close to the light. Two sound modes: continuous tone or pulses. Three sensitivity levels, affecting both the sound and the vibration. Light intensity shown in lux (estimate), spoken aloud with a single tap. Built-in user guide. Fully accessible with VoiceOver. Two languages, Greek and English, adapting automatically to your device's language. Privacy first: It does not collect any personal data. No internet connection required. No advertising, no tracking. The camera is used only to measure light — it does not take or store photos. Note: the lux reading and the colour recognition are estimates based on the device's camera and may not always be exact.
