CragReport gives you detailed weather conditions for thousands of crags worldwide. It pairs a physics-based thermal and drying model with hour-by-hour weather so you know when conditions hit their peak. Save your favorite areas, get notified when the conditions are good, and read what other climbers found on the ground. Features Conditions Score See a quality score for the current hour and every hour ahead. Tap any score for the top reasons driving it: rock temperature, humidity, dew point, sun, and wind. Five-Day Hourly Forecast See the forecast for any crag, with temperature, wind, precipitation, and condition rating per hour. Quickly find the best window across the week at a glance. Wall Configuration Get more accurate predictions for the wall you are climbing: Set wall direction (N–NW), overhang angle from vertical to 45°, and rock type — granite, sandstone, limestone, volcanic, gneiss, or quartzite. Wall conditions update based on these values to give you detailed insight on when it's the best time to climb. Rock-Aware Drying A two-phase drying model tracks surface film and internal moisture separately, so porous sandstone gets the patience it deserves and granite dries on its own clock. Past precipitation comes from NOAA MRMS radar, not just point forecasts. Map and Nearby Open a map of your saved crags and the closest crags around your current location. Tap any pin to jump straight to its forecast. Search by name or by location to find new areas. Push Alerts Get notified when a crag's conditions look good. Community Reports Read condition reports from climbers who were just there, with photos and notes on what the rock actually felt like. Submit your own report in seconds after a session.
