Smart Travel Log vs Wandr

Smart Travel Log helps you rediscover where you’ve been and track every place you’ve visited. Start with a 7-day free trial; after the trial, an active monthly or yearly subscription is required to access the app’s features. Scan your photo library to automatically build a private travel history from the location and date metadata already stored on your photos and videos. See the countries, territories, and U.S. states you’ve visited, browse your travel activity over time, and keep your list complete by adding places manually. Your photos and videos stay on your iPhone. Smart Travel Log only uses location and date metadata to organize your visits, so you can explore your travel history while keeping your memories private. Track your travel progress: • Countries and territories visited • U.S. states visited • Automatic visit detection from photos and videos • Manual visit entry • Regional progress and percentages • Visit history by place and date • Photos and videos grouped by visit Whether you’re counting countries or just curious what your camera roll says about your travels, Smart Travel Log gives you a simple, private way to see your journey. Wandr turns the world into a map you uncover by living in it. The map starts dark. As you move through the real world — on foot, by car, by bike — Wandr quietly reveals the places you pass through. No checking in, no tagging; just go, and your map fills in. Come back a year from now and you'll see the real shape of your life: every neighborhood, every road trip, every walk to the coffee shop. Save the places that matter, build day streaks, and compare your map with friends if you want to. Everything lives on your iPhone — no ads, no trackers, no account. Requires Always location access so the map can keep revealing while the app is in the background.
