Vidroxy is a simple clip-preview finder—not a streaming app. Browse short studio-style previews, save the ones you like, pick up where you left off, and keep private notes on your device. Discover by category: Popular, New Releases, Coming Soon, Action, Comedy, Drama, Horror, Sci-Fi, Romance, and Thriller. Search with suggestions and recent queries. Save clips into folders and manage them in batches. Recents remembers playback progress so you can jump back in. Notes with tags stay local and private. Watch previews in the official in-app player, with speed, mute, and quality controls. Back up or restore Saved, Recents, and Notes from Studio. A dark cinematic theme throughout. A data key is built in so Discover can load right away. You can also add your own key in Studio if you prefer. Disclaimer This app is for entertainment only. Accuracy is not guaranteed. WHY ANCINERE • Diary-first: your photos and words come first — not a poster wall from the internet • Timeline: see your watch history as a vertical story, grouped by date • Calendar: spot busy viewing days with a heat map; revisit "on this day" memories from past years • Library: search, filter, sort, and manage every record in list or grid view • Year in review: generate a beautiful summary card to share with friends • Share cards: export record cards using your own images • Private & local: data stored on device; export/import JSON backup anytime • App Lock: optional passcode to protect your diary HOW YOU ADD RECORDS Choose what works for you — all four paths are equal: • Photo Library — pick a ticket stub, scene photo, or memory • Camera — snap a cover or record a short clip on the spot • Custom — enter any title yourself • TMDB Search — optionally look up a title to pre-fill name and year (metadata only; no browsing feed) WHAT ANCINERE IS NOT • No video streaming or downloads • No public movie catalog or recommendation feed • TMDB is used only when you actively search while adding a record Start your watch diary today. Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: Ancinere at 198 against Vidroxy's 5. Ancinere also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and chart position (#142 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Vidroxy against 4.8 for Ancinere. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ancinere has 198 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Vidroxy ships an update every 2 months, Ancinere every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
