You pay first and the seller disappears. Or you deliver first and the chat goes quiet. MoniRef ends that. The buyerβs money is held by our licensed payment partner and released to the seller only when the buyer confirms delivery. No foul play, on either side. Built for how Nigerians actually buy and sell online: Instagram and WhatsApp vendors, Facebook Marketplace and Jiji deals, pay-on-delivery orders, freelancers and service providers who want to be paid before they start. FOR SELLERS Get paid upfront, then deliver. The money is committed before you ship, and it lands in your wallet the moment the buyer confirms. Create a payment request in a few taps, share the link anywhere, track every order in one place, withdraw to any Nigerian bank. FOR BUYERS Your money only moves when you say so. Pay by bank transfer to a dedicated account, not the sellerβs account. If delivery is never confirmed, you get your money back. No account needed to pay a request. HOW IT WORKS 1. The seller creates a request and shares the link. 2. The buyer pays by transfer. The money is held by our licensed payment partner. 3. The buyer confirms delivery and shares a release code. 4. The seller enters the code and the money is released. PRICING No fee to create a request. No monthly fee. A withdrawal fee from β¦150 applies when you cash out and reduces as amounts grow. You see the fee before you confirm. VERIFICATION Every seller completes identity verification (KYC) before collecting payments. Paying a request does not require verification. ELIGIBILITY Nigeria only. You must be 18 or older. Transactions are in Nigerian Naira. DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT Account tab, then Delete account. It takes effect immediately. If you cannot sign in, request it at moniref.com/delete-account. Some records are retained after closure where Nigerian law requires, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
