About

ChoreOrbit

Away Coverage plans temporary cover for work already scheduled during an absence. Preview capacity, share the handoff and apply cover to those occurrences while preserving the household rotation. HOW TO USE THE UPGRADE 1. Open Operations → Away Coverage. Choose the absent member and dates, up to 31 days. 2. Preview cover for existing open work due in that period. Review effort, proposed member and unresolved items. 3. Confirm Apply coverage. A changed roster or work list requires a fresh preview. 4. Share the handoff report. Completing covered work credits the cover member, clears that temporary cover and advances the original rotation. Keep zone and asset records, recurring work, prerequisites, service windows, recovery planning, local backups and completion history. WHAT TO KNOW The return day is excluded. Only existing open occurrences are covered; the app does not generate all future repeats or contact people. Capacity reflects recorded work and configured daily capacity, not personal availability. Due-date or roster changes invalidate the relevant cover. Unresolved work remains visible. iPhone and iPad. No account required.
