One optional in-app purchase unlocks the remaining 94 lessons. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It restores on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account, and it supports Family Sharing. There are no ads and nothing else to buy. Scope This is Western philosophy, from the Pre-Socratics to contemporary thought. Year 2 runs from the Church Fathers to the early moderns and gives Islamic and Jewish philosophy a course of its own: Avicenna, Averroes, Al-Ghazali and Maimonides alongside Augustine and Aquinas. The curriculum does not cover Eastern or Asian traditions. There is no video, no discussion feed and no cloud sync. Your progress lives on the device you read on. Privacy Liminal has no servers of its own. There is no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising identifier and no tracking, and nothing you do is uploaded. Your progress, bookmarks, notes and review schedule are stored in a database on your device. Every lesson, quiz and profile is already installed, so the app reads the same in Airplane Mode; the only network use is Apple's own, when you buy or restore the unlock.
