JustFlip vs Deste

Flashcards with a real spaced-repetition engine — and no ads, no sign-up, and no paywall creep. Native on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. iCloud sync included free. Full Anki and CSV import and export, so your cards stay yours. SCHEDULING YOU CAN SEE • Proven SM-2 scheduling, with FSRS available as an optional smart schedule — fewer reviews at the same retention. • Every grade button shows the interval it will produce before you choose it. • Review priority per interest and per deck, so limited study time goes where it matters. • Postpone a card, deck or interest without lying to the algorithm. Holds are stored separately and never touch your memory data. • Leech detection suggests retiring cards you keep failing. CARDS FOR ANY SUBJECT • Cloze deletion (fill in the blank), using Anki-compatible syntax. • Typed answers, with an automatic correct / close / incorrect verdict. • Markdown, LaTeX maths, syntax-highlighted code and tables. • Images with descriptions, read out by VoiceOver. • Tags that cut across decks, plus search over every card you own. BRING YOUR OWN AI JustFlip writes the prompt for whichever chat AI you already use, then imports the answer straight back as cards. No daily caps, no extra subscription, and you review every card before it enters a deck. BUILT FOR APPLE PLATFORMS • Home-screen widget with your due count. • Siri and Shortcuts: ask how many cards are due, or start a review. • Spotlight finds your cards from the Home Screen, matched on either side. • Apple Watch review on your wrist. • Cards read aloud, with per-card language and pronunciation control. YOUR DATA, VISIBLE AND PORTABLE • Works fully offline. No JustFlip account, ever. • iCloud sync shows its last successful sync, with a troubleshooting screen when something looks wrong. • One-file backup, and statistics export as CSV or JSON. ACCESSIBILITY VoiceOver labels throughout, Reduced Motion support, and non-colour indicators when Differentiate Without Color is turned on. FREE AND PRO Free covers up to 3 interests with 5 decks each, with the full scheduler and no ads. JustFlip Pro lifts those limits and adds listening and advanced statistics, as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. A one-time 7-day trial unlocks the Pro features so you can try them first.
