TinyRiff
Read full descriptionHide full description
TinyRiff is a performance pad app for triggering chords, backing patterns, and layered sampler performances from a single pad—ideal for practice, songwriting, and live performance. (The app has been renamed from TinyTone to TinyRiff as of version 1.5) Use TinyRIff as a MIDI pad for GarageBand, synthesizers, electric pianos, samplers, and other MIDI gear. With the built-in “TinyTone” sound engine, you can also play instantly without any external devices or MIDI connections. TinyTone can also be used as a chord input pad within Mac DAW environments. Chords can be entered not only from external MIDI input, but also directly on the app screen. Up to four key transpose settings (key shift / octave shift) can be stored within a single pad set, allowing you to switch chord arrangements for intros, verses, choruses, outros, and other musical sections from the same pad layout. TinyRIff can also load sound data created with the separate “TinyTone” app, allowing you to use original sounds directly inside TinyRIff. With TinyRIff Yearly (annual subscription), you can save, share, and import up to 100 pad layout sets. The free version supports saving up to 5 sets. [Added in version 1.5] New “Riff-Pattern” and “Step Sequencer” modes have been added. • Riff Pattern: Freely assign notes across 16 steps, including upper, middle, and lower notes within a chord. TIE input is also supported. • Step Sequencer: Create 16-step patterns with support for ties and rests. • Each mode includes 4 slots that can be switched during performance. • Supports real-time performance together with slider control and transpose. • Created patterns can be imported and exported together with pad presets, and shared via AirDrop. Improved MIDI connectivity with GarageBand and AUM. • To use GarageBand or AUM, select "VIRTUAL MIDI" as the MIDI output. • "VIRTUAL MIDI" sends MIDI data to all connected host apps. When using GarageBand and AUM simultaneously, disable TinyRiff MIDI input on the host you do not want to control.

Loopeme is a pocket loop studio for musicians who write on the move. Hear a groove in your head? Tap the tempo, hit record, lay down a phrase. Loopeme auto-trims the silence, snaps the take to the bar and stacks it on top of the previous layers. The idea that used to die in your voice memos turns into a track instead. Built on a real C++ DSP engine: tracking and mixing run at low latency, and WAV export prints the same effect chain you played live — what you hear is what you keep. CATCH THE IDEA • Tap Tempo — set BPM from your own pulse, no "type 124" panel • Auto-trim — strips silence around your take at a dB threshold you control • Cut Mode — drag loop boundaries on the waveform and hear the result instantly • Metronome with pre-roll and downbeat accent BUILD THE TRACK • Multi-layer loop stack — pile takes on top of each other, each with its own fader and effects • Rhythm generator — turn one phrase into a pattern: ×2, ×4, ×8, ×16, triplets, backbeat, off-beats • Pitch Shifter and Peak Filter on every track • Add Bar / Remove Bar — change loop length on the fly, no re-record PLAY FROM ANYWHERE • Apple Watch — full remote: record, play, tap tempo from your wrist while the iPhone sits on the stand • MIDI controllers (BETA) — map Play / Stop / Rec / Tap to notes or CC, play with a footswitch or pad • iCloud — projects sync across all your devices TAKE IT OUT • WAV export of the whole project through the full FX chain — ready for your DAW • Inline previews in the project list before you open a session FOR WHO Guitarists, producers, beatmakers, looping vocalists, music teachers and anyone whose best idea happens in line for coffee instead of in the studio. Loopeme doesn't try to replace your DAW — it catches the stuff that never makes it there. We'd love your feedback — reach us from the in-app settings.
