Daily Affirm puts one affirmation on your Home Screen and changes it for you: once a day at a time you pick, or a few times a day inside hours you set. You don't need to open the app to read it. There's no subscription. Premium is a one-time unlock that stays yours, and the free version is the full app, not a trial. There are 1,700 affirmations in 17 categories. They range from daily motivation, self-love and anxiety relief to abundance & money, good habits, grief & healing, and recovery. Each language has its own library, written for that language and reviewed line by line rather than translated word for word. All 18 are complete. Everything is stored on your device, so it works offline. The widget comes in small, medium and large for the Home Screen, three sizes for the Lock Screen, and StandBy. Choose one of 10 themes, or make your own: any color or photo behind the text, your fonts and colors, with a live preview as you edit. You can also write your own affirmations. They join the same rotation and show up on the widget, in Today, in Favorites and in Share. Triple-tap a word to make it stand out. Keep the lines you like in Favorites. Share one as an image. Hide the ones that aren't for you, and they leave the rotation. Smart categories fill themselves. A Favorites category brings every affirmation you like to the widget and Today. Short Only keeps just the short affirmations from the categories you choose, and new ones join on their own. With Premium, add either one from New Category in the Library. If you'd like a heads-up when the affirmation changes, turn on the alert. Otherwise the app stays quiet. It won't ask for a rating on day one, it won't guilt you about streaks, and it won't push an upgrade before you've had a chance to use it. The free version gives you the widget in every size, 3 categories you choose (300 affirmations), 3 themes, favorites, sharing and the schedule. It shows one small banner ad. Premium removes the ad, opens all 17 categories and all 10 themes, adds smart categories, and lets you write your own affirmations and design your own themes. You'll see three prices. Each one unlocks exactly the same thing, so pick whichever feels fair. There's no account to create. Restore Purchases brings Premium back on a new device, and your favorites, your own affirmations and your settings return with your iCloud backup.
Pillog

Pillog is made for people who take several supplements. One cell of your daily ring is one dose. Take it and the cell fills with that supplement's color — when the ring is full, you're done for the day. ■ Today, in one ring See what's left by time of day — on waking, after breakfast, afternoon, before bed. Tap "Taken" right in the notification and it's logged. ■ Nutrient totals Pillog adds up the same nutrient across products and shows today's total next to the recommended intake and upper limit from the Korean Dietary Reference Intakes (2025 KDRI). ■ Timing guide Get suggestions for empty stomach, after meals, or before bed, plus combinations that interfere with absorption (like iron and calcium), with the reasoning. ■ Lock screen & home screen From 30 minutes before a dose, tap "Taken" or "In 10m" on the lock-screen Live Activity. Check today's ring with the home-screen widget. ■ Before you run out When a supplement has 10 days or less left, you'll get a reminder at 9 AM. ■ Records & reports See the month as small rings on the calendar, review weekday habits and highlights in the report, and share it as a card. ■ Stays on your device No server, no account, no ads. Everything is stored only on your device. Move it yourself with a backup file. — Not medical advice; for reference only. If a product has its own directions, follow those.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Pillog at none against Daily Affirmations's 3. Pillog also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
