For everyone who loves minerals, gems, and rocks. This app helps you record everything you "find" and "collect" — and enjoy the hobby even more. From discovering and sharing collecting spots to keeping your own private collecting notebook and showcasing your creations, bring every encounter with stones together in one app. No account required — you can start taking notes right away. ■ Discover and share spots on the map Explore collecting spots for minerals, gems, and rocks from around the world on an interactive map. Search by place name to jump straight to where you want to go. For locations and shops that are okay to share publicly, add them to the map along with photos and stone types to share with the community. Allow location access to instantly find spots near where you are right now. ■ AI-assisted stone tag suggestions Show a photo to the AI, and it will suggest possible stone tags. Not sure what something is called? Just pick from the suggestions and start recording with ease. AI suggestions are candidate tags only and are not a precise identification. ■ Keep your own private "Notes" Record the stones you've found, the places you've visited, and the shops you've stopped by in a private notebook visible only to you. No sign-in needed — notes are saved on your device, and you can transfer them to an account later if you create one. Works even off the grid: take notes out in the field with no signal, and they sync automatically once you're back online. Pick multiple photos at once and crop them later. As your notes grow, search and filters help you find what you're looking for in seconds. ■ Share your creations in the Gallery Post your stone-based creations — wire art, accessories, and more — to the Gallery. Browsing other users' work for inspiration is part of the fun. Aimless makes driving loops that start and end exactly where you are. Pick how long you want to be out — 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes — and Aimless hands you three routes that wander out and come back without retracing themselves. Tap one and it opens in Google Maps, ready to drive. It exists because aimless drives have a flaw. You head out with no destination, you get too far from home, and the drive back becomes dead time retracing roads you just covered. A loop fixes that. The whole drive is the good part. WHAT IT DOES • Generates three loops starting from your current location • Shows each on a map with real distance, drive time, and highway percentage • Hands off to Google Maps for turn-by-turn navigation • Favors back roads — loops with significant highway are filtered out BUILT FOR BACK ROADS Aimless deliberately avoids highways. Every candidate route is checked for motorway content and anything with a meaningful share is discarded, because a highway loop is not a drive worth taking. The times are honest, too. Aimless routes each loop through the exact waypoints it hands to Google, so the duration you see is the duration you drive — not an optimistic estimate of a route you were never going to take. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO No account. No sign-up. No history, no sync, no ads, no tracking. It doesn't store anything, including where you have been. Open it, tap once, drive. Aimless needs a location fix to know where your loop should start, and it needs Google Maps for navigation. That's the whole dependency list. Good for a Sunday morning, a passenger worth talking to, and no particular place to be.
