Help your child take their first steps into reading with simple phonics practice, clear letter sounds, and beginner word blending. This app is designed for young children who are starting to learn the alphabet sounds and read their first simple words. Children can listen, repeat, and explore at their own pace using a calm, child-friendly design. In Letter Mode, children hear each letter sound in a structured phonics order, helping them build confidence one sound at a time. In Word Mode, children practise blending sounds together to read simple words. They can hear each sound separately, then listen to the full word. The app includes: • Letter sound practice for early readers • Sounds introduced in phonics order • Simple phonics flashcards • Clear audio for letters and words • Beginner word blending practice • Easy navigation for young children • A calm design with no distractions Ideal for parents who want a simple way to help their child practise phonics, learn letter sounds, and begin reading short words. Great for preschool, Reception, early reading practice, homeschooling, and children starting their phonics journey.

About

NumbersPlay

Features

NumbersPlay turns early maths into something a small child does with their hands, counting real things, feeding a hungry monster the right number of snacks, balancing a scale, bowling at numbers, and driving a little car through the archway that comes next in the sequence. Made for children aged 3–6, everything is read aloud in a warm, real recorded voice, so a child who cannot read yet can play every game on their own. ONE PATH, NO MENUS Your child follows a winding path of stepping stones. Each stone is one short sitting a few minutes of mixed practice with one celebration at the end. Sessions grow a little longer as your child gets older, questions never repeat back to back, and a topic played again deals its activities in a fresh order. WHAT THEY'LL LEARN • Counting and numbers, from 1 to 5 all the way to 100 • Adding and taking away, up to 20 • Patterns, what comes next, and which one is missing • 2D and 3D shapes • Comparing: more or fewer, bigger, taller, longer • Days of the week and o'clock time • Skip counting by 2s, 5s and 10s • Number words, number bonds and first word problems 38 topics, 82 activities, 23 different games, including Number Drive, Number Bowling, the Gobble Machine, Sum Slingshot, Feed the Monster and Peek. KIND BY DESIGN • Every word spoken in a real recorded voice, never a robot • No timers. The game waits as long as thinking takes • Nothing is ever hit or hurt, wrong answers are a gentle bump • A child who struggles quietly gets smaller numbers and fewer choices until it clicks and the practice grows again when they're ready FOR GROWN-UPS • Parent dashboard behind a grown-up gate: progress by topic, stars, streaks, and a "needs practice" view that shows where to help • Daily challenge and sticker rewards to build a routine • No ads, no tracking, no analytics, no data collected. Every lesson, game and recording works with no internet connection at all, the only time the app talks to anything is when Apple handles a subscription • Purchases sit behind a parental gate FREE TO TRY The first seven topics are free, counting, shapes, comparing, patterns, adding and the days of the week, so you can see every kind of learning before paying anything. SUBSCRIPTION NumbersPlay Premium unlocks all 38 topics and every game. • Monthly one month, renewing monthly • Annual twelve months, renewing yearly Prices are shown in your own currency on the purchase screen before you buy anything. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled any time in your Apple ID settings.
